Nineteenth-century hotel surrounded by Berlin's Ober- and Orankeseepark, five kilometres from Alexanderplatz in the city centre. In 1912 was the first inauguration of the Old Fire Station. Hundreds of fire and emergency were approached from here over many years. Nevertheless, they found even then often occasions to celebrate in that building. During the Second World War the house was partially destroyed. But a short time later, after the reconstruction, and it continues its original purpose. 1952 there was a momentary closure of the fire station. But only a few months later, she was used as a warehouse and then as a police station. A few years passed and the former fire station got a new job. In these rooms the luxury limousines of Erich Honecker found a new home. On Mai 6th 2000 it was finally over. The hotel ALTE FEUERWACHE and the Restaurant and Bar GARAGE opened their doors. Today you can visit, where once the fire engine and later the luxury limousines found their place. Now you can enjoy our upmarket Mediterranean cuisine in a nostalgic atmosphere.
