A suprising BargainAfter reading some of the reviews i was alittle apprehensive about the room. however i was pleasantly surprised, we were allocated a newly refurbished room at the back of the house on the ground floor. One ensuite room with a kingsize bed. The linens were all new, sparkling white fluffy towels and extra pillows. Tea and coffee were provided and all the cups and glasses were cling filmed over, there were biscuits too. The bathroom is rather small, but adequate, no toiletries provided.Breakfast consisted of a choice of three boxed cereals,orange juice, tea or instant coffee and sausage, egg and beans with white toast. Parking was secure and free. on the whole a bargain for the £36 paid.

I thought the guest house was excellent value for money, the room was small but clean. could of done without the cleaner leaving all the windows open after she cleaned, not terribly good security wise. I would suggest you take another set of towels with you as you only get 1 set and their were 2 of us (which you would expect in a double en-suite room) and also you will need to take soap for the sink and if you're fussy about your toilet roll take some of that too, although what was there was good enough for us. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. Owner was very polite and helpful. All in all good and would recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, near the city centre, in a quiet neighbourhood. Free parking off the street, too. If you´re not familiar with Peterborough, you need to ask for instructions how to get there, since the website doesn´t display it (or make the map printable). Special thanks for the lactose free milk!!

Would recommend booking with ensuite, as not upto sharing a communal shower/bath. Upgraded from single room with shared facilities to a double with ensuite. Good value for money, although shower a little cramped and made of those ready made cubicles. Shower was more of a trickle than a shower, but what do you expect for the money!!!!!!!
