Very comfortable indeed. lovely bathroom, extreemly comfortable bed and blackout blinds a real bonus. Not the best location but internal decor was lovely. Spa a lovely addition to a business stay. Eased the back after a long drive!

Rather a mixed experience the spa is excellent well equipped eg the gym area. Spa pool indoor into outdoor excellent if not minimalist, treatments good. The rooms very basic although comfortable beds. Poor toiletries (surprising really given that the place is an ESPA hotel) I think it has a long way to go in determining whether it is a spa with rooms or a hotel with spa. Not sure what it strives to be. Rooms should have complimentary water for example, no room service (we arrived late), limited storage space eg drawers and shelves, poor lighting for reading in the rooms. Hotel restaurant rather crowded in terms of number of tables squashed into smallish space. Menu limited yet not cheap, service very slow and poor. I think it lacked a restaurant manager.. Free w ifi very good and atrium delightful.

excellentWe were too late to eat in the restaurant but a wonderfully helpful receptionist who I think was called rebecca, went to great lengths to find us an appropriate place to eat nearby (also excellent). The only thing the hotel could have done better would have been if they had left us with a pot of tea at breakfast rather than circulating and topping up infrequently.

The hotel is on the edge of a retail park so is not in a good setting, but more than makes up for this inside.Service is excellent, facilities are excellent and this was an extremely relaxing experience especially as I was on a working trip. The rooms are not set out for the long stay leisure traveller though.......no drawers for undies etc, mirrors hung behind furniture, nowhere to sit and dry hair or apply makeup. Very comfortable and nicely decorated though.

The spa experienceThis was the first time we have stayed at a spa and I chose it as I enjoy swimming so was disappointed on arrival when I was told they do not have a swimmiong pool. The spa is exceptional. The hydrotherapy pool is as big as a swimming pool so I was able to swim in it.There are so many good things such as the choice of saunas, steam room, tropical rain and fog and ice etc etc.The place is of the highest standard. The meal in the dining room was superb, but rather expensive. My main problem was that the bedroom windows were sealed.I am used to sleeping with the window open and the double glazed windows are not designed to open.We had a suite of room which was superb, with a built in t/v in the bathroom ,and a large plazma t/v in the lounge and also one in the bedroom ,and an enormous jaccuzi bath.We did miss not having a shower in the bathroom as we are used to showers rather than baths. It certainly is the ultimate in spas. The gym is superb.

An excellent hotel. Only critiicism would be that the rooms whilst they are spotless, and very smart and comfortable, they are a little bland...but if this is the worse I can say, it shows how good the place is. Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

The location of this spa is on a grotty trading estate, however once inside you really don't notice the surroundings. We were unimpressed with the stains on the receptionist top when we checked in, not a very good first impression, when we went to enter the spa there was no one to hand out towels so we had to route around tying to find them, robe and slippers which only come in one size so if your feet are larger than a size 6 they won't fit. The spa itself was lovely, pool warm and the outside pool fun with different types of whirlpools around the pool. Sauna's and Steam room very nice, but the salt grotto is a cool room that smells like rotten cabbage. There is a wide range of treatments on offer but book early as it was fully booked when we tried and it didn't seem that busy. The staff are really nice and even though the water fountains were empty most of the time the staff filled them quickly when asked. The evening meal Saturday night was wonderful, lovely food and excellent service, a bit pricey but very good. Overall it's a nice hotel, lovely spa and I would recommend it but only at a reduced rate.

Amazing stay!We booked this 2 days before and very happy with the price we paid on LateRooms. The drive up to the Spa is a little off putting being on the edge of a retail park, but once you stepped in reception that didn't matter. The receptionist was very welcoming, and efficient so we were quickly away to our room to get changed ready for the spa. The slippers were not kept in the rooms, but a quick call to reception and we collected some from them. The room is basic but comfy and lacked the personal touch but to be honest we didn't spend that much time in the room, so it served the purpose. We were disappointed with the lack of information in the room pack, i.e. no spa treatments list, no restaurant sample menu....all of which was stated as being in the room pack on the welcome sheet we were given. The spa and gym facilities were excellent and the instructors in the gym were very helpful. I wanted to try the Vibraplate in the gym and they took time to explain how it worked and set me up with a programme....I'm still aching now! My only comment re the spa is I would have appreciated some info re the different hydrapools etc to know which part of the body they target etc. We thoroughly enjoyed it though, felt very relaxed and stress free by the end of our stay. We didn't know that we could use the facilities from 0930 from the day of check-in but stayed the following day until 14.00 and took advantage of the pool again before the drive home. Please don't be put off by the exterior of the Spa, one couple actually refused to check in because it wasn't \"green\" enough outside, which was a shame as I'm sure they would have had a great experience once inside. We will be back but only if we can pick up another bargain at LateRooms!

The hotel was only 2 weeks old when we stayed, and clean, modern and sparkling new, with a wonderfully comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and clean and inviting public areas.Having said that, the downside of the hotel being so new, was the fact that it lacked atmosphere, 'soul' and warmth, with the exterior of the building resembling a building site, and the interior stark and bland. The staff all seemed new and were having teething problems with technology, and were unfamiliar with local information. The restaurant advertised a set meal for £17.50 for 2 courses, but was not available on a Saturday evening. The food was extremely expensive, served in tiny portions in a stark, bland restaurant with pleasant enough staff, although no restaurant manager seemed to be in charge. We took the advice of a couple that had eaten there the previous night, who had been disappointed, and we left the hotel to eat in an Indian restaurant in Malvern, at far better value for money. The Full English Breakfast, however, was filling and tasty. The Spa side of the hotel was wonderful ... the pool, sauna, steam room, experience showers etc etc were wonderful, and the time spent in the Spa was relaxing and enjoyable. The one annoying part of our stay was that the wireless internet connection that is advertised, does not work. There is no signal in the public areas, and in room 102, the signal strength was weak and would not connect. This could prove a real problem for someone really relying on the Internet, and in our experience, is not reliable.Overall, our stay was pleasant, relaxing and a welcome break. One wonders how long the hotel will retain it's lovely 'new' feel for once it has been open for a while, and whether it will then still be worth the very steep room rate it charges.

Hotel had only been open for 4 weeks when I stayed. Staff were polite if a little unsure about all of the processes that they needed to complete! Gym and Spa are excellent and are the main reason for staying there. The hotel is located on an industrial estate which is not great location-wise. Hotel doesnt accept Amex either which is a pain.

The facilities are simply breathtaking, the pool and sauna etc were better than most 4 or 5 star hotels

Malvernspa stay! What a great spa hotel! Checked in early, luckily the room was ready. The room was great overlooking the Malvern hills. We were aware of the hotel being on an industrial estate, but caused no problems. We decided to walk into Great Malvern and was informed by hotel receptionist it would take 15 mins - 50 mins later, on an uphill walk we arrived in Great Malvern. What a delight! Back at the hotel, we took advantage of the Spa pools and various saunas and steam rooms. Total bliss! No noisy kids splashing about etc... Breakfast was superb! Will definately be coming back to this hotel - SOON!!

Friendly staff with excellent food.Strange location on the edge of an industrial estate but once inside, the room was very well presented and comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent and the food very good indeed. However, I should have taken note of previous reviews because at night the room was incredibly hot being over the pool area. In addition, the flashing lights from the smoke alarm overhead caused me a very restless night. If you can cope with the heat and the lights it is a very nice place to stay.

Superb and exceeding expectationsI stayed here on business and arrived quite late, so didnt get chance to make use of the facilities (apart from the free wi-fi which was excellent). This hotel is classy, with an abundance of marble and high quality finishings. The rooms are very sumptious. Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast had plenty of choice and was good quality food. I am quite loathe to leave such a great review, as getting a room here needs to be done well in advance due to its high scoring reviews! Will definately stay here again to make use of the facilities next time.
