We stayed in one of the penthouse appartments and it was fantastic! Can not fault one thing about it. It was clean and very spacious. The master bedroom even had an en suite which was not listed on the description. There was also Molton Brown products in both bathrooms! Everything with this apartment was done to a high standard, I would stay here again if I was to come to London.We arrived at Kings Cross and got to the apartment easily via the Northern Line tube and DLR. Less than 5 minute walk from the Heron Key station. Check in was easy and straight forward and we even got into out apartment at 10.30am.

Marlin Canary SouthThe room was clean and close to wher we needed to be so scored well there.It was however a lot smaller than the pictures and description would have you believe so we were a little disappointed about this.Overall I would give it 6.5 out of 10.

As serviced apartments go the quality was excellent and great value for money. I would however suggest that the box of "groceries" actually contain some groceries, rather than just chocolate and crisps!

Upon my arrival there was a slight hickup with acquiring the keys to access my suite as they had not been left in the specified lockbox at the advised time resulting in waiting an extra half hour to gain access to my suite. Despite this I was more than happy with the quality of my suite which was one of two penthouse suites. I would recommend these apartments and would happily stay again.

I had never used Marlin apartments before and I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was well appointed and clean. It was a little difficult to get hold of customer services as the information available in the apartment block was sparse, but once we actually tracked them down they were very helpful.

Great apartment in a surprisingly peaceful Byng Street (it is right next door to Fire Station but heard no sirens at all)

Nice Business Apartment but Poorly RunThe location is convenient to Canary Wharf but the building is a residential apartment that is on a side street away from anything of interest and the managers are inconvenient in their timing for being there with several people waiting outside for them to show up to let us in. One of the residents said this is a normal situation since he sees people waiting there every day. The directions for how to get a key were incorrect since the complex insists on checking IDs again one more time before letting you have the key. They also failed to provide enough towels and even when asked didn't provide any additional linens.

Collecting the keys was a bit of a pain but if you alight at Canary Wharf the keys and apartment are very close by. I found Canary Wharf the easiest DLR station to use as this was only a 5 min walk and we avoided being crammed on the train from South Quays to Canary Wharf at 8am in the morning!Apartment was clean and very large. Had very good equipment but was missing a bottle opener! Luckily the restaraunt below was accommodating! I would use this service again as it was excellent value for money - equated to £50 pp/pn.

if you just need a bolt hole that is well appointed, well positioned for the Docklands, and you're not spending much time there (because it's astudio apartment, however well set up) then this is perfect. Automated check in with access codes setn to phone & email, worked perfectly.

The appartment building is placed approx 10 mins from the centre of Canary Wharf, however this is into the Isle of Dogs and I would not let my wife travel to these appartments late at night alone. Our apt was apt 2, which was accessed via 1 door from the road, over the car park. Dont expect a view from these appartments of anything more than a car park or more flats.Having started negatively, let me put the story straight. This is East London, not Venice and the view is not essential. The apt was comfortable, clean kitchen with essentials, television lounge, iron and board, good shower, clean bathroom, clean bed linen, good (a little too good) heating... so not a disaster. I would say it is comparable to the hotels in the area with regard to quality. Good place to stay over for one night if not spending too much time in the room.Overall, its OK. I would recommend you stay in another apt than no. 2 but we had a good nights sleep all the same...

Marlin ApartmentsAccommodation excellent. Downside we booked 1 two bed in February and were notified 3 daays prior that none were available so we had 2 one bed apartments. Fortunately they were next to each other, otherwise catering would have been a problem, Only able to negotiate a discount after much pressure. Only 1 bath and 1 hand towel per couple.

Can't say it had a personel touch to it as I did'nt see anyone but the system worked well with no problems. Didn't realise there was no parking (its in the middle of London so I presumed) and the initial booking did'nt ask or inform that the was none, but very nice and clean ( just 1 pillow case with spots on it) and very convienent for the O2
