We booked our hotel room based on other reviews on Travelocity and are glad we did. It is a very nice hotel. All rooms have some sort of view of the ocean. The rooms are are very nice and the beds are comfy. So go for it, you won't be sorry.

My wife, 2.5 year old daughter, and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself is quite nice and well maintained, although the pool area is rather small and was crowded at times (hard to find an empty lounge chair). You are separated from the beach only by a very nice paved walkway which runs along the entire beach. And the beach is beautiful, of course. The town of Hollywood, FL is much quieter and less developed than Miami and Fort Lauderdale, so if you're looking for a glitzy experience with nightlife, this is probably not your best option. If you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway with the family on the beach, this is a good choice.

I wanted a few days to relax at the beach. Every room has a balcony with a view of the beach. Only a wonderful paved walking and biking path separates the hotel from the beach. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The parking is free and very secure. I definitely plan to go back to this hotel. Thank you Travel agency for helping me find this hotel!

My husband surprised me with a trip to this fabulous hotel for my 50th birthday- our arrival was met by a fantastic front desk clerk (remembered our names each time we walked past) - we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite with two balconies - room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated - bed was super comfortable - bathroom was completely remodeled and fantastic (loved the glass doors - very unique) - balcony views were great (one overlooking boardwalk/ocean and the other overlooked the pool area - complete with live music) - we strolled the boardwalk looking for a nice place to get an ice cold beverage on a hot day, but found that we shouldn't have gone too far - the bar at the hotel was everything we needed - in fact, for the next 4 days and 3 nights we only left the hotel for long walks on the beach - our room rate included breakfast each morning in the hotel restaurant - staff was extremely friendly and happy to see us each morning - poolside at the hotel was a treat, there was plenty of seating and an attendant to bring you fresh towels and check on your comfort during the day - also, I recommend getting a chair near the boardwalk for the misting machines that spray you while you sunbathe (very decadent!!) - dinners were spent each evening in hotel dining room, outside boardwalk tables or bar (Monday night football!!!!) - we were never disappointed - we even changed our plans while there (with the help of the front desk staff) and stayed an extra night, all with no problem and always a smile - The Hollywood Beach Marriott is now one of my favorite all time hotels and I can't wait to return someday.
