Hotel was nice and not overcrowded. Beds were great. Good poolside food and bar service. Beach was a little narrow compared to the Hyatt and Westin and Ritz.

Beach was beautiful, courtyard was incredible with turtles and river. Room was musty and my allergies never stopped room service-nasty and raw undercooked food on every order. Hotel looks nice, staff was helpful, and room was humid and musty causing unknown allergies to cause difficulty in breathing upon every return to the room. Room service was the worst I have ever experienced. I tried several different menu items: Hamburger ordered well, delivered raw, three attempts later they brought cooked hamburger which then tasted of freezer burn, next night I ordered chicken tenders, they came half cooked! Ordered vanilla ice cream and coffee as last effort, ice cream was full of ice crystals as though it was in that freezer for 2 years, coffee wasn't even hot-Luke warm. Food was 2.5 times the cost as in US hotels and wasn't edible in my opinion, hotel offeredreplace food, bring benadryl to help you breathe and cope in the room, and bring snacks as you won't want to eat here.

The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The location was close to many restaraunts; therefore it was nice to walk to most spots. The location on 7 Mile Beach was priceless. We would stay at the Grand Marriot again if we returned.

The hotel is nice. The staff were all very polite, helpful and spoke english. Be aware of the partial view rooms. You can see the ocean but, not much of the beach. A large awning blocks part of the view. The fitness center is very small. These two minor negatives will not keep me from going back to this hotel. The island is the nicest of the many Caribbean islands I have seen. It seems clean, safe and a nice place to walk around. Try the local eateries, I was very satisfied with most of them.

We went to Grand Cayman for a quick trip. I had booked the air and hotel separately and we were booked with the Grand Cayman Beach Suites. When we got there, the Beach Suites claimed to not have our reservation for that night, despite the confirmation they emailed us. We went down the road to the Marriott. They were FABULOUS! The staff was GREAT! They got us a room - for which we are eternally grateful - that was, unfortunately, on the south side next to a condo being built. After much discussion, we decided to ask for a move the next day and they accomodated us with a room overlooking the courtyard which was, not as nice as an oceanview but was still very pleasant because of how adorable the courtyard is, and was much better than viewing construction. All of the staff there were helpful, pleasant, so very accomodating!! The food at the Marriott was another wonderful surprise. They have a Friday night buffet on the beach with a Mahi Mahi that is absolutely to die for! And the lamb was spectacular as well. If I thought I would ever return to Grand Cayman, I would definitely stay there again. Can't say enough wonderful things about the staff!

this hotel was very beautiful on the inside and out. Although cayman islands is a very pricey place you are definitly visiting this island with a lot of money in your pocket. The only downside we found to this hotel was the beach everyone was right on top of eachother. Service was excellent the beach was the only drag. Next door was construction and the pool was old and a mess. Wouldnt revisit again but was nice while it lasted
