The Marriott Durham Civic Center is clean, quiet and convenient. BIG UPS in my book. The parking lot did not seem to have security cameras or guards or someone outside the front door at night when I got back to the hotel. The Marriott Durham Civic Center is excellent hotel and the overall experience is wonderful. Thank you, Marriott.

Quiet, clean room. Internet did not work. TV remote forced review of pay channels before getting to free network. The hotel is conveniently located near the Durham art and cultural centers. There is adequate parking. The lobby is awkwardly laid out. The restaurant is mediocre at best. The rooms are pleasant, clean, and sound proof. Internet access is sketchy and staff is not skilled in resolving problems with it. Quite adequate for an overnight or multi-day stay. A bit pricey for what it offers.

Loved the beds and room very comfortable. Parking is 2 blocks away dark and dangerous late at night. Beautiful facilities, very comfortable beds flat screen TV, food is good close to many venues but parking is in unsafe late at night.

TV technology was very well done. They were remodeling and the noise from above room. The hotel had very nice staff members-good breakfast and the technology in the rooms is first rate. Good beds and pillows.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and shuttle service was great. At one point I spoke to a staff about picking me up from my appointment and she had a bad attitude. Good place stay. It is clean and most of the staff is friendly. Very close to Duke University and hospital. The TV was a flat screen and they had free internet.

I liked the convenience; the bellhop; the front desk people. I was told I would receive a king size bed; I received two double beds; yet, I survived Located in Downtown Durham, where business does not exist. The Hotel which exceeds one's expectations -- Surprisingly clean and well mannered. The bed was comfortable, although I was promised a king size. Overall my experience on a scale of 1-5; would be 4.

Location. Small room, bathroom too small, no fridge. You had to close the bathroom door to use the toilet. TheTV volume was low & couldn't turn volume higher.

Good quality of building and rooms. Windows could not be opened (as usual with this hotels). Its a Marriott. Rooms are well maintained, comfortable and clean. Staff is good. situated very well for visiting the Carolina theatre. Free parking. Great value for the price.

It was quiet in the rooms. The bed was comfortable. The parking lot was a bit of a walk. The area is not 3-star. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet.

Inviting, warm, friendly, met our needs, restaurant on premises, very pleased. Location wasn't the best, but still liked the hotel, it was a police chase right in front while we were there. The staff, hotel, service, room were all great.

The venue where I was attending a concert was accessible from the hotel without having to walk outside. The bartender needed some help with handling all the customers by himself in addition to serving food orders. Great hotel.

Comfortable room. Housekeeping. I stayed in room and called the next day that I left a phone charger plugged in to the wall. They said they never found it.
