Shuttle service pick up at train station was great. Shuttle service to airport for customer's starts too late at 0700 when you have a flight at 0715. Enjoyed my stayed everyone was helpful.

Comfortable bed. No parking area at check-in. Nice, clean good-sized room. Polite staff. Good breakfast (in room). Convenient walk to wall St., battery, statue of liberty, etc. No parking area out front and poorly signed, so if you drive here, watch out.

Great views; exceptional comfort; very clean; wonderful amenities; an oasis in NYC. Location is a bit difficult for public transportation travelers. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Very clean and extremely comfortable with beautiful rooms. It's an oasis in NYC's busy financial district. The only negative is the proximity to subway stations if you plan to use public transportation.

The Marriott downtown was very comfortable, the room was larger than I had expected for a New York Hotel. Staff was accomondating. The beds were very comfortable and the room seemed to be sound proof. I felt safe in this location. The hotel is just a couple blocks from the subway, so transportation to and from uptown Manhattan was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Good experience at hotel, nice breakfast. In NYC to see friends and sightsee. Close to subway and short drive to midtown. Battery Park location is nice.

Comfortable bed, nice river views, attractive décor. Price is high considering what short amount of time we actually spent in the room but what do you expect it's NYC. Overall, great place to stay!

Clean with amazing views over the Hudson River. Bar prices where a little high. I had a wonderful time. Beds felt heavenly. Temperature control was easy and fast. Views over the Hudson River and Jersey City where breathtaking. Area was safe to travel at night. Hotel was withing minutes walk from the subway and major visiting sites.

I tend to have confidence in the Marriott Brand this did not disappoint. Getting there from JFK a 2 hour shuttle all the way at the tip of Manhattan. This was my first time in New York and I preferred to stay at a name brand like the Marriott.

The staff went our of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Sitting on the lobby floor during a 3:00 am fire drill. The Hotel Concierge went out of their way to have a bottle of Champagne, with a plate of fruit, cheese & crackers waiting when I returned from running the New York Marathon. My mother forgot to have something sent to my room for the special occasion, called the Concierge and this is what they arranged.

Due to flight delays, we had only 2 hours in the hotel. Excellent room. No 24 hour room service. We checked in 2 1/2 hours late. We had a concert to attend and didn't get back to the hotel until 1.30 AM. With a 3.30 wake up call to catch a shuttle.

This hotel far outweighed my expectations! It was hands down the best hotel experience I have ever had in New York City! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful, the rooms were nice sized and clean, the food was good and the rates are quite reasonable. When I booked the trip, I was nervous about the location (downtown, away from all the exciting New York action), but after my experience, that did not matter to me, everything was just a cab or subway ride away. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, you will not be disappointed.

This hotel surpassed my expectations with not only superb service but also with the quality of the rooms, decor, location (room with a view overlooking the Hudson River,) concierge service, front desk, bell attendants and front door's men! Everyone my party came in contact with was friendly, smiled and was ready to serve. Our room was stylish with contemporary furnishings, cozy with a large picture window. The marble counters in the bathrooms were an added plus and the bedding and pillows were very luxurious and comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the financial district. This hotel is close to a subway (short walk) and close to an indoor shopping area and Century 21 department store as well as Trinity Church, St. Paul's Church (by Ground Zero) and various small restaurants. Young patrons can walk easily to the other side of Manhattan to the East River where Pier 17 (South Street Seaport is located) with a wonderful shopping complex that has something for everyone. I truly enjoyed this hotel!

Went to New York for the US Thanksgiving and this hotel was absolutely ideal....beds extremely comfortable. We had 3 people with 2 queen beds and had all the amenities you would want. The concierge service at this hotel was soooooooo fantastic...they found us Thanksgiving Dinner at the last minute-only $45 and the food was very delectable. Everyone at the hotel were friendly...very safe neighborhood and really close to some great shopping!!Would reccommend for comfort and cleanliness!

It was a very nice place to stay. The check-in was fast and staff was very friendly. It was very close to the WTC disaster which made for a lot of recovery construction right at the front door. The Marriott was a very nice place to stay. Convenient to the Statue of Liberty and Wall Street. For everything else the subway was a couple of blocks away and took you everywhere.

The room was great and the hotel was located near a few subway stations. If you need to be in the Financial District, this is a great place. Walking distance to South Street Seaport and Battery Park area, as well as the World Trade Center site. The online travel website price was far and away the best deal.

Great location and view. Very generic and bland. Very smart place to stay if you have business in lower Manhattan. Great staff to take care of you. Unfortunately, the hotel is old with not much to offer in the line of room improvements.

Newly renovated & well maintained. No issues. Newly renovated and situated very near the Redline Subway for ease of access to the rest of Manhattan. Great shopping nearby at the Century 21 discount superstore. Friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay. No problem recommending this hotel.

We chose this location for proximity to battery park and launches to Statue and Ellis island tours. Nice walk to Brooklyn Bridge. Nice view of Ellis island. to get both Statue and Island view I think you have to be above 30th floor. Pre paid breakfast 20$/couple option was a good deal, half the price they charged on site.

This hotel is in a centrally location, the employees are nice and polite, I did not had the opportunity to eat on site but we had cocktails, the restaurant seems pretty good with a lot of good looking people, I?ll definitely stay there again.
