Parking and we were able to walk to tourist attractions. Elevators - very slow and in fact, we had to use the stairs several times. For the price it worked out great for our needs and we were able to walk to all the attractions we needed to.

The beds were very comfortable. The front desk and public area was noisy and irritating. Great location near Georgetown; within a ten block walking distance. Good for urban hikes in a safe area. Lots of boutiques in the Georgetown that are fun to browse in. Assortment of different eateries and restaurants from Vietnamese, Italian, to Ethiopian.

Comfortable bed and quiet room. They charge $12.95/24hrs for wired internet. The room was nice, however the bathroom was tiny. They charge $12.95/24 hours for wired internet. They are supposed to have wireless internet in the lobby, however it was not working during my stay. I reported the problem to the front desk, however the problems persisted.

The staff was terrific, very friendly and helpful. Absolutely nothing. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Though not located near many attractions, we were able to take the Metro and cabs very easily. The staff was terrific, very friendly and helpful.

For the kind of money I paid for the 2 rooms I would have expected better. Wallpaper was coming off the walls, generally seemed a little run down. For that kind of money here in Vegas you would a lot better room.

Very friendly front desk staff. Very nice to my children. Health club staff not very friendly. A nice hotel, but the room was small for a Marriott. The bathroom was tiny and the counter was too low (would have been appropriate for an ADA room, which it was not.

Friendly and courteous staff. Nice and quiet for sleeping and doing my books for the 2 days. Can't think of a thing for my type of stay. I needed a working and sleeping weekend get away to feel rested and caught up with some things I put on the back burner for awhile. The do not disturb sign said "I am in the zone and one knock could take me out of it" Something like that anyway. It was perfect for me who needed to sleep, have quiet and me time. I got so much that and much more.

Parking was poor and overpriced. I don't know if the room was of a lesser quality than the other rooms, but I really expected more. The room was clean and the TV was nice.

Very comfortable and nice area. Parking fees. When I arrived at the hotel, I was shocked to be told there was a parking fee of $30 -34 plus another 4 plus dollars for some sort of tax fee. Needless to say, I was a bit, no, a lot dissatisfied. A parking fee is one thing, robbery is another.

Staff personality as a whole was fantastic! Underground parking a tight squeeze. Situated a few blocks from the main shops and restaurants of Georgetown, this Marriott exceeds expectations. The front desk staff greeted us with a great sense of humor, welcome after a long set of flights. We were placed on the Concierge Level, which included an a typical Continental breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, along with the usual suspects. While we didn't have the opportunity to use all of the features, we would definitely recommend this hotel for DC business travelers as well as those who wish to be walking distance to Georgetown's leisure amenities.

This hotel has an incredibly attentive staff. The location is excellent and for the price, a great value. This hotel is old and its time for a rehab. Great location, great value, great staff. The basics are all here and you cannot beat the location in what has become a "New York" priced market, Washington, DC. Minutes from the heart of downtown and Georgetown and easy to find for anyone, this Marriott has strengths that few properties can match in DC. Parking is a nightmare in this neighborhood for everyone and you just need to budget for the nearly $30 a night parking, though on weekends street parking is free but hard to find. An attentive staff comped me a room for my daughter when we arrived late and all the rollaway beds were gone. This kind of service and attention more than made up for the smaller rooms, older conditions and small lobby and public areas. There is a great little lobby meeting room area right next to the restaurant which I was able to use for several hours for some interviews and meetings. Though not completely private, it perfectly fit the bill for an impromptu business meeting I had while on what was a pleasure and family trip.

Delightful, clean, secure, well appointed room. Health center-limited equipment smells stale-unpleasant. Great hotel, great location, all facilities and services, except for the health club/exercise area, were excellent. I opted for long walks around Washington because the exercise equipment was limited and the atmosphere was dank and unpleasant. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again regularly if I have the opportunity.

We got to the hotel very late ( around Midnight) and the room we had booked was not available. At first I was very upset because they wanted to put 4 of us in a room with a king bed and a rollaway. But after a while they upgraded us to a suite with a king bed, a sofa bed and a rollaway. It was a very enjoyable 6 night vacation.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were nice. We had room service a couple of times and the food was good. The location was good as well. It was a short walk to the subway and to Georgetown but we felt safe, even at night. The staff was this hotel's best feature, they were great. If I did have a complaint, it would be about the television reception, some channels were clear and some were fuzzy. Although it was on a nice flat screen TV.

We used the Metro system to get around rather than dealing with a car, and this hotel was about a 10-minute walk from two Metro stations. Not bad, but we expected to be closer. Fortunately, the weather was good, so the walks to and from the stations were not an issue. The room was very nice, including a large flat-panel TV, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and coffee maker. There was no included breakfast, which I wish we would have known going into the restaurant. We ended up paying $10 for two slices of french toast! Way over-priced! So we didn't eat breakfast in the hotel's restaurant after that morning. The only other complaint we had is that there must be a fire station located a block or two away, because we did hear sirens quite a bit. But we apparently slept through any that sounded overnight. :) Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this hotel to others. Just wanted to make everyone aware of the couple flaws we found. But other than that, it was a great hotel.

I was mislead by online agent when booking my hotel stay at the Washington Marriott. I was informed that a continental breakfast was included in the price. It wasn't. Upon my arrival to the dining area I was informed by the rude hostess that my room wasn't on the complimentary room list for those clients who receive a "free breakfast". I asked the hostess to check with the manager. I actually saw this hostess talking with the manager. After their conversation, she attended to several hotel clients. My traveling companion and I finally got fed up and were about to leave when our waiter saw our frustration and asked us to stay. He told us that he would find out what the manager said to the hostess. Finally, the waiter came back and told us that we were not entitled to the continental "free" breakfast because we booked through online. We found out if we booked through Marriott the price would have been the same and we would have gotten the "free" breakfast both mornings. Not only was the hostess rude, but so was the manager - since he should have followed up to ensure our comfort of staying at the hotel. The entire experience lead us to never book through online or stay at this Marriott hotel ever again. We'll see that we share this disgusting experience with our co-workers and family and friends.

The beds were very comfortable fitness center is very nice! 4 blocks from any Metro stop made a cab necessary during nighttime hours. Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Bed linens were very nice, however pillows were too small. Parking is steep at $26.00/day but this is DC. Metro is 4 blocks away to Foggy Bottom or Dupont Circle, so it was necessary to take taxis after dark from some neighborhoods. Walking from Georgetown was pleasant and felt safe, even at night. Recommend a taxi from Dupont Circle at night. Fitness center was especially nice, even provided complimentary fruit and bottled water. Overall, a great stay.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable and very courteous. Even with a convention going on, it was not overcrowded or too busy . Nofree parking! Very nice, clean hotel. Hard to navigate to get to if you are not familiar with Washington, DC and it's traffic, but once you find it,the staff are very sweet and helpful. No free parking options, and that gets expensive fast if you are staying for any length of stay and the difference between valet and self parking is minimal. They need a family friendly menu section too that reflects that younger guests don't eat as much as adults. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel and we all had a great time.

Very nice and cozy room with a convenient location and good price. The view from my room was awful. Was not romantic at all. It was a nice hotel with a good lobby and helpful staff. It is situated very close to the M-street shopping area - you can even walk down to the heart of M-street. The area was very safe and we could afford to roam around till midnight. But there is hardly any view from the hotel rooms. We had a barren land with wild shrubs view from our room, which was disappointing. But otherwise the room and its amenities were as per my expectations for a 3-star hotel in Georgetown.

We saw all the sights in DC. Great location. Nice part of town between the red and blue/orange lines. Great staff, especially at the restaurant (where the food is really good.) The rooms are very nice. No problems with noise in the halls or in the neighborhood. I would stay here again if I ever return to DC.
