My stay at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis was great no complaints except for the $28 a day parking. The staff was super friendly and the place was immaculate so the parking really didn't matter much after all.

Rooms nice, clean well decorated and in good repair. Hotel staff mostly less than helpful other than the girl who checked us in.

I liked the versatility of the hotel; there were several restaurants, a bar, a spa, a coffee shop and pool. The parking fee was too expensive and the bellhops were not very helpful with our bags. The hotel was amazing. It was the largest hotel that I have ever stayed in. I cannot believe how smoothly everything was with so many rooms and guests to attend to. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the 34th floor was incredible. The breakfast buffet was so incredibly delicious, but pretty expensive.

The staff was amazing. Very professional. It was great no bad comments. We were met with smiling friendly hotel workers and it was great through-out. Had a TV and refrigerator problem that was fixed immediately. Thank you to all the friendly workers there!

Very urban - downtown in the middle of everything, big lobby, neat-looking. Room smaller than expected, view was of the parking garage. Great location, efficient staff, good atmosphere. Very busy - wait for breakfast was 30 minutes (so skipped it). Room and bathroom a little small. TV old-fashioned.

Architecture. No WiFi and Ethernet internet was not free. I thought the hotel was great. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Quiet rooms, even in the middle of downtown Atlanta. Fast valet service.

The hotel was beautiful! The concierge gave usbad information. Cost us some money! The hotel was amazing on the eyes. The kids thought it was cool. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the pool. Also there was a 2" gap under our door. The concierge gave us bad information which cost us some money. He is not as familiar with downtown as he should be. The valet staff was wonderful, worth every penny!

The staff was very pleasant, and dealt efficiently with my concerns We had very slow service at the hotel bar and no one came to clean our table The hotel is ideal for conventions and business travelers, but rather unintimate for leisure travelers.

Beautiful hotel, all the 5star amenities. High Velocity is the pub style restaurant, Sear is the gourmet pretender. Enjoyed High Velocity's food better. The indoor/outdoor pool was great, although there is a roof panel missing, so in March it was a tad chilly in there. Close to all the downtown attractions, Coke, CNN, GWCC. Only thing missing was a Business Center with Internet access. Had to pay 40 cents per minute at the FedEx place in the basement, which of course was not open 24 hours. Did not want to lug my laptop.

We attended a recent sporting event in Atlanta and stayed here. The hotel was booked solid and we checked in at ""prime time"". Though the place was mobbed, the staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We were just there over night, so we didn't get to take advantage of all of the ammenities but appreciated they were available. The only complaint was with regard to the parking. The hotel lot was full and we had to park at a location down the street. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

We were in Atlanta for one day, to see the Braves/Pirates game. We took the MARTA to the hotel, since the Peachtree Center stop is right above the Marquis. It only takes 16 minutes from the airport to this stop, and is only $1.75, one way -- good deal! The only snag was once we rode up the steep escalator to the Peachtree Center food court, there are 2 sets of 3 steps...not very luggage-friendly! Since this hotel is obviously geared toward the business clientele, a ramp on one side of these stairs would be appreciated by the travelers! All in all, the hotel is opulant and busy! We stayed on the 22nd floor and had a fantastic view of the town. The room was small, neat and clean. The bed had a down comforter and plenty of feather pillows. The Pulse nightclub was hopping all evening, and I was hesitant that I may hear the noise, since the hotel has one large atrium in the center, but that didn't happen...rooms must be very well insulated. We used the MARTA again that evening to get to the Braves game (via a shuttle) and one more time to get back to the airport. After the game, we were looking forward to munching on one or two of the many food establishments found in Peachtree center, but they were all closed, and it was only 9 p.m.! We knew there was a Hard Rock nearby, but didn't know if it was safe to walk to, so we ordered a pizza through room service. It was okay, but we only got one plate and place setting! Would expect more for our $25.00. Stay here if you need to be downtown...I know I will.

We opted for the aquarium package which was basically rack rate but included free parking (normally $25 a night) and 2 tickets to the Georgia Aquarium. A good deal for the money.
Hotel is beautiful with a classy understated style in a soaring 50 story atrium. Rooms are comfortable, clean and up to date. Water pressure was okay on the upper floors, but not what I'd call great.
the pool was unavailable for repairs, this disappointed us greatly. We selected the Marquis because of it's lovely indoor/outdoor pool and even asked about it when making reservations and were not told that it would be torn up for a refurbishment not was it mentioned at checkin. Even though I called the hotel directly to make reservations, I'm pretty sure I was transferred to a call center somewhere that obviously didn't have the information about the pool. I expect more from a hotel like this.

Easy location to subway, Civic Center and Ga Aquarium. Pricey dining. This facility has maintained it's charm. Location, means that you can get just about any where on foot or by subway. Inside, you have the feeling of security as abundant staff covers the lobby. Eye catching architecture makes this hotel a pleasure to come home to after a busy day.

The helpfulness of the staff. Bathroom was small; parking expensive. The hotel is attractive and clean, altho the room and bath were a little small, and nothing outstanding. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I left an important object in my room after checking out, and staff was extremely helpful in retrieving the item and shipping it free of charge to me. Room service breakfast was very good.

Great proximity to tourist attractions. Valet parking was $28.00 per day. After tips coming and going. Itwas very expensive. Very nice hotel. Excellent food, and great location. Parking is expensive. One meal, one hotel movie, two days parking, excluding tips, was very expensive, and as much as the room itself. The staff was a little rude at check in but was okay at check out. They may have been short staffed. Families trying to save money should stay at a hotel further away from downtown.

Hotel architecture was incredible. Double beds were too small for me an my spouse. The hotel staff was very attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hollow center of this 50 story hotel made the views very dramatic.

Very neat open interior to this building. $26 valet parking is your only option. The room was large and clean. Our group spent time just touring the inside of the building which is completely open in the center and very tall with glass elevators. $26 valet parking is your only option for parking here. Internet connection is not included with the room but can be paid for. There is a star bucks in the hotel and a small gift/snack shop. Very convenient location for visiting downtown Atlanta and the outdoor (partially covered) pool is really nice.
