This is a beautiful property, right on the beach. The kid at the front desk was very friendly and got us an ocean front room. Mariott really seems to care about pleasing their guests!

Surroundings is beautiful. Rooms were small. Stayed here as a platinum Marriott member. Even though I made the reservation over 8 months ago I was disappointed at the room I was given. A view of the rooftop. There were vacancies in the hotel. I stay over 160 nights in a Marriott and this was the best they could do.

It's on the ocean. Kids pool (inside) too noisy. Our room faced the ocean. The hotel has a great beach. The gift shop has a good supply of goodies. The staff were very friendly and professional. And, of course, there are no bad days at the ocean.

Sheets were a little too small and had trouble staying on the corners of the bed. We enjoyed the hotel very much. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Elevator was slow. One was broken. I enjoyed my stay at the Marriott Resorts. Wife enjoyed the Spa and the kids enjoyed the beach and pool. My visit would have been more enjoyable if they would have provided free wifi access instead of making you pay $11/day. In addition, charging $10.70/day for parking is ridiculous for such a location. If this was downtown NY or Chicago, I can understand. Paying for parking is the biggest complaint people have on this hotel and management needs to take note. I say make parking free and charge for the towels.

Gorgeous view, lovely facility. Superb customer service - every staff member greeted us, asked how they could help, always smiling and friendly. Great room services - housekeeping was impeccable. Concierge was extremely helpful; we stayed on a golf package and they arranged every detail. New Year's Eve dinner in the hotel restaurant was great, romantic and intimate. Beautiful pool deck, isolated little hammock field. Biking on the beach. Would absolutely stay again.

This place is great! The staff greets you as soon as you pull in and makes you feel welcomed! The inside is beautiful! The outside pool is so nice with the hot tub, bar, hammock, and relaxing music. The beach is right on the lot, so you dont have to go far to play in the sand! Fod was good, staff responds to calls and request quickly! Just a great place in general!!

Beautiful, clean, friendly staff, food was very good. Nice view of the beach and ocean. Beds very comfortable. Nice pool and exercise facilty, changing rooms and showers with great soaps and lotions.This was off season so we were very suprised how welcoming everyone was to us.

Wonderful employees. Whirlpool was dirty, no make up mirror in bathroom. Great staff that catered to all types of guests, spacious & clean rooms, enough activities to keep non-golfers happy.

I was able to view and hear the beach right from my bed. The sun rose in the morning and set and it was just beautiful. I wished they had a microwave in my room. The hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the beach was very close by. The staff was helpful in assisting with directing us to the best restaurants.

Attractive room & friendly helpful service. Room-to-room noise level was high; could hear kid crying next door. The Marriott Hilton Head is an older but well-kept property. Rooms are attractive and bathrooms well equipped. All rooms appear to have balconies - very nice amenity at the beach. #1 problem is room-to-room noise; for two mornings we were awakened by a baby next door. There is inadequate sound proofing between the rooms. If you are a TV person, the room TV is an old fashioned one - not a LCD flat screen which we would expect in a luxury resort. Finally, they charge $10 / day for WiFi. Most first class hotels include internet connectivity - they are out-of-step with other luxury hotels in theirs regard. On the whole, a very nice stay in a great setting.

Orbitz advertised the hotel had been rennovated. That was not true!!! If this hotel is a 4 star hotel then I would hate to see a 3 star. We ended up having to switch rooms and pay more because the air conditioner in our first room did not work. The air conditioner in our second room was a little better, but not much. The hotel was old and dirty. I will say that the staff was very friendly and did want to be helpful. The pool area was nice. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Resort had every amenity that we needed and more. Slow elevators and one broke the whole time. Excellent hotel. Great location. Great value for the Priceline deal.

Room needs remodeling, pool ice cold and aremeals over priced. The room needs updating, the toilet ran all the time, the pool was ice cold, and restaurants were way overpriced for what you get.
