The staff was wonderful and friendly, they were helpful and even allowed me to take photos in places that were restricted it this historical hotel. Everyone was so friendly and the history behind the hotel is incredible. It is a hotel that has blended a new addition to an historical hotel and done it seamlessly. I really loved it.

Large rooms. Along walk from the parking lot to get there. Great service great rooms, but use the valet for parking. Its a hike to the hotel from the parking lot.

Location & overall friendliness of staff. Issues with swimming pool. Stay was great except for issues with swimming pool. First, the hours of the pool were listed as 6 am to 11 pm, yet the pool didn't open until 9 am. Overheard pool staff & another worker stating no one should be in the pool because it had not been cleaned due to pouring rain it had sprinkled that am not poured as pool staff stated. Pool staff could not tell me when the pool would be open. Contacted front desk, which was very helpful and was able to let my children swim and had a later check out time because of the issues of the pool not being opened when it should have been. Once at the pool, my sliced his foot on the side of the pool approximately. 4-5 ft. from the ladder. There was a really rough spot in the concrete. Also other rough spots throughout the pool. This hotel needed to do some maintenance on the pool in the off season so that patrons weren't injured. They also need to either change the times the pool was open or change the information book in the rooms.

Had a very neat, historic feel to it and the attached shopping area was fun. The labeling of the floors and the elevators weren't consistent. For the money and the location this hotel was wonderful. The tulips and trees in the courtyard were in bloom and beautiful. The rooms were very nice and the staff was helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Historic building in a great location. More toiletries (mouthwash, body lotion.) Outstanding value for a 4 star hotel in a major city!

Fantastic, comfortable beds, and nice lobby. $14 daily parking fee. It was a great hotel. Comfortable clean room, close to shopping and fancy restaurants as well as food courts.

It was historic and beautiful. Did not get the services we paid extra for and did not like having to pay so much for parking. The hotel was very beautiful with wonderful surroundings. Upon checkin the front desk was somewhat rude and did not have our reservations correct. The heater did not work and we did not receive the extra services we paid for.

Loved the staff, loved the service, felt welcomed from the minute we walked in the door. If your going for a game, stay in one of the hotels by the field, same thing for the arch. This hotel is just far enough to make walking uncomfortable. The mall at union station was dissapointing to say the least. I didn't feel safe anywhere, people asking for money everytime we left the hotel and sleeping across the street in the park. Hyatt staff were Amazing, they can't help their surroundings.

"This is a beautiful hotel with comfortable accomodations. Downtown St. Louis, Arch & Busch Stadium are a quick 5 minute drive. Budweiser Brewery was a 15 minute drive. The hotel offers valet and self-parking. The self-park is across the street from the mall entrance and is safe and can be accessed via hotel key card after hours. Try to stay on the Regency Club Level!"

Great bathrooms! Vacant union station (in which the hotel resides) feels like a ghost town. Also, $14 parking is outrageous! Ample space in rooms, comfortable bedding, and great bathrooms. Definitely a 3.5 star hotel on a 4 star property. The parking fee of $14 nightly is rather excessive, though, especially when the parking isn't even covered! It's just a parking lot. The pool wasn't open during our stay, although it looks a bit dated.

Stayed there last month. Beautiful experience. Convenient to downtown, but almost anything you need is there. Shopping and eating available inside connected to hotel. If you like old classic locations, this is another plus. The rapid transit train to downtown, the zoo and elsewhere is just behind the hotel, along with several great places to eat. Our room was clean and very comfortable.

It had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and very clean. Disappointed that Union Station is half empty, but not hotel's fault. Would stay there again in a heartbeat wish we could have stayed another day. Completely enjoyable experience. Staff was attentive. Fitness facility was excellent.

The historical section was very unique and breathtaking. Parking is 19$ for overnight travelers. This was a great trip. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary. It was very nice. The staff put champagne and chocolates in our room with a handwritten card. We will definitely go back!

Great location and a lot of historical significance to the area. The overall cleanliness of the room could have been better, but for the price and location it was excellent. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel. The location was great.

Convenient location. Had to pay $13 for internet per day. Overall a very nice hotel. I expected free internet access. It was $13 a day, which is not convenient for a business traveler. Staff very friendly and overall a nice stay.
