The M23 and M25 motorways are a 10-minute drive away and Gatwick Airport is just minutes away, via the hotel's shuttle service (at a small additional cost). The spacious and stylish rooms are designed with guests' maximum comfort in mind. Each room has plenty of desk space, satellite TV and high-speed internet access. The Atlas Bar serves food, wine and cocktails. The Pavillion Steakhouse restaurant offers international cuisine and L'Olivo is an Italian-style restaurant, ideal for family dining. The Mercure London Gatwick Airport Hotel is excited to announce the opening of Constellations Healthclub. Constellations Healthclub, situated within the hotel, offers extensive health club facilities including 10m heated pool and jacuzzi. The Healthclub also features a large resistance training room as well as another (separate) training room, focusing on cardiovascular exercises and training. These are available to all residential guests free of charge.2 Squash courts are also available, access subject to a charge and availability. A range of treatments, including massage, manicurepedicure and facials will soon be available at an additional charge and need to be booked in advance to ensure availability. Constellations Healthclub is open Monday - Friday between 07.30 hours - 22.00 hours and Sat - Sun between 08.00 hours - 20.00 hours

This made waiting for a plane a pleasure. Huge, clean room, super comfy bed, only wish I could have slept in it a bit longer! All staff we met were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Room service with a great dinner, bliss. Recommend it to anyone who needs a very good value hotel as close to Gatwick Airport as possible. Great stuff!!

VERY AVERAGE AND BASIC ROOMS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY VERY CLOSE TO GATWICK AIRPORTOn arrival they could only find one room even though we had booked for 2, this was resolved within 20 mins, the car park was a bit of mess around getting in and out after you had paid your £10 to park for 24 hours. We were very dissapointed to see that on laterooms website the pool was being advertised as closed in dec 2008 but was still closed when we arrived on the 9th may 2009!!!! And wasn't due to be reopened until late 2009 so don't pack your swimming stuff!!!! Rooms were very dated but for £45 we didn't expect much more we overlooked the roof of the bottom half of the building from our room.\r\nThey had setanta sports downstairs in the bar and flight information on the screens in the lobby area breakfasts were £13.50 for full english and £9.95 for continental. Tesco was 2 minutes away, overall quite an average stay. Staff were quite pleasant though.

Carpark charge was £20 for the two days, find this not acceptable when staying at a hotel.£8.50 + £1.50 service charge, for 4 slices of dried up toast and a pot of tea for two in the room.Food in the restauant was Mediocre, and over priced.£1.00 for a packet of crisps in the BarUs Northerners are not tight, far from it, they are having a laugh!!!

We travel through Gatwick airport frequently. This clean and comfortable hotel is very convenient to Gatwick. It is a good stop off point in order to catch an early flight. Shuttle service to Gatwick is regular. Rooms are modern, beds comfortable, and is quite considereing it is not too far from the airport. We look forward to our stay there each visit.

The hotel was very comfortable and despite being listed as a 4* hotel, the staff were friendly which is fairly unusual in these types of establishments. The only downside was the cost of the drinks - a double vodka and tonic and a pint of london pride - Â£13.55!!!

Easy to find. Car park expensive at £10 for overnight especially as staying at hotel, but then hotel was a good price. Didn't have food at hotel as it didn't look that nice an area.
