Location! Beautiful, clean room. Stunning view. Noise from ground zero construction, thin walls. This hotel boasts an enviable location and stunning views of ground zero and the harbor. Great restaurants, stores, and sites abound. Room is very clean, neat, modern, and comfortable. Though small, room has beautiful window views.

The location was great, close to the subway. The noise from the WTC. We loved the hotel, but we got put in a very noisy room on the WTC side. We wanted to move but they wouldn't move us until our last two nights. Once moved we had an amazing view of the Hudson river and the city bridges. The noise was much less, but we were near the machanics of the lift so that kept us awake.I would not stay here again due to the noise.

Pretty rooms. The construction site of the WTC was too noisy. The construction site of the WTC was too noisy. You all should be ashamed to give a blind hotel assignment, and have it near a noisy construction site at the WTC. It was noisy. Hotel management's offer to remedy the noise was handout earplugs. Not a good experience.

Hotel was neat and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. I thought staying downtown would be nice but it is really out of the way from everything besides the statue of liberty. When i booked the room it was to my understanding you can see the statue from the room but we were not up high enough. The construction at ground zero was VERY loud even when you are 17 floors up! Our ice machine on the floor was broken so we had to go to another floor and use theirs. I thought the room was over priced. It wasn't what i was expecting for the price i paid. And i didn't like the no ""in-out"" privileges with our car. 55 dollars a day to park is just crazy! Other hotels are about 40 a day. And if you pick up anything from the mini bar-even if you don't use it you still get charged. That's ridiculous! I don't think i will be staying at any more Hiltons. No wifi in the rooms in a high class hotel is another downfall! And it was $15 dollars to use the internet for 24 hours in the room. The prices are crazy!

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for two nights and we were beyond amazed with everything. The hotel was beautiful and we were taken care of very well. We had a city view room on the 31st floor and the view was beautiful. We could look directly into ground zero, which was interesting to see, and along with the buildings and water it was all quite lovely. There was some noise from the construction in the morning, but it wasn't much louder than regular busy city noise, so we weren't bothered by it at all. Everything was clean and polished perfectly. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable we wanted to take the whole bed home with us! It was great to collapse in bed after walking around the city for 14 hours. We had such a great time and will DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again.

Wonderful Hotel, The most amazing view of the business district, New Jersey, and the Statue of Liberty. Service was great. I did not pay the $ up front for all the extra services. Nights are pretty desolate, but it is the business district. However, the subway stop is just at the foot of the hotel so its no problem to get to other part of the city. Wonderful facilities, pool, gym, and restaurant. Would definitely book again. Some noise from construction from ground Zero, but it is still amazing to see them working.

We stayed in a junior suite on the 36th floor directly across from Ground Zero and we loved it...but I think it is because we were up so high and that on Friday July 4th no construction was going on. The suite was great: corner window for the parents and a foldable sofa for the kids with their own TV in the main room (common bathroom between the rooms). We watched the fireworks from up there! The restaurant was pretty good and the pool was clean and very very nice (there is a small sauna as well). The concierge was not too helpful as far as tips for local breakfast place.

I stayed there in the beginning of the winter to go to the ice skating rink at Rockafeller center with my boyfriend at the time who is now my fiance. The View is unbelievable! Floor to ceiling windows. Get a corner room on the highest floor. It is breath -taking. The room had plenty of room and I loved the ledge that could stand on by the window and look down to the street. The location was great cause I love china town. All those purses and watches are the best. Also Little Italy is right there with unbelievable food. You can see the WTC ground zero from there and it really will touch your soul. The staff was also phenominal. Arturo was great! He upgraded my room for free and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. It had to be special cause my fiance proposed to me there on the ice! Was unforgettable! Defentily stay there. I don't think I could stay any where else in Manhattan.

The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful, the room was average in size, decor was tastefully done. I would stay here again. I am a native New Yorker, therefore being at the WTC sight was very meaningful. What bothered me is the construction workers starting at 6:15 am Saturday. Overall, it was a great place to stay. If you like to walk and sightsee, this would be a great place to come to. The hotel was well maintained, plenty of cabs and limo's available. The valet parking was a disaster. I recommend eating in Soho or the Village.

The room was clean and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed. However, the neighborhood is extremely quiet at night (as is to be expected in the Financial District) and the hotel bar and restaurant closed at midnight, leaving us with few entertainment options without hailing a taxi. We were not at all bothered by construction noise from the WTC site, and the black-out curtains were great at keeping out the construction lights. My biggest gripe is that during check-out, the hotel attempted to charge us for over $20 from the minibar. We did not activate any sensors, etc by accident because we didn't even know where the minibar was in the room!

Convenient, non-touristy location; close to subways. Ground Zero construction work. The views are astounding - you won't feel guilty about not leaving your room. Front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful, though, and was able to accommodate my request for a higher floor upon arrival. Ground Zero construction wasn't at all obtrusive - barely audible, in fact. I look forward to returning, though the noise might become an issue as construction progresses.

The room had a fantastic view and was very comfortable - contemporary furnishings and a large flat screen TV and desk with internet hookup. It took about 30-40 minutes to get our luggage from the bell station when we were ready to head to the airport. This is a great hotel for business travelers who don't mind being away from mid-town. (I personally like being closer to the theatres and Central Park.) The rooms are well-appointed with large, flat-screen TVs, desks with internet hookup and king size beds. In addition, most rooms have terrific views. A downside for some might be the proximity to the World Trade Center construction site (right next door).

Very nice up to date room. Nothing. Many reviewers complained about the noise from the pit. We were there on a Saturday night and it was not noticeable. Traffic was reasonable with some truck traffic. We were on the 19th floor. We were able to visit St. Paul Trinity church which was right next door. Hailing a Taxi was relatively easy. You need a hand full of bills to keep every body happy (this is typical of NY).

The location and staff was both excellent. Concierge tried to overcharge for tickets. Had to go to another location for refumed. The hotel was very clean and nicely accomodated. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. The lobby bar is very pricey and watch out for the snack bar in the room. Just opening the door triggered a charge to the room! Not a great design. But the hotel was very quick to remove the charges without question. I'd definately stay again. It was a great vacation.

All staff members were friendly. Parking expenses were outrageous. Our room faced the WTC and it was inspiring albeit bittersweet to see the new building going up. Good marks for cleanliness and a very comfortable mattress. The air was dry and the HVAC control didn't work well. In just about every other category, especially value, the stay was very nice. Whenever I have friends in town, I put them up at the Mil. Hilton. It's a great hotel, located right next to Century 21.. a shopping mecca. Within walking distance to Tribeca, South Street Seaport, and tons of subways. The area is bustling during the day.. esp weekdays because of its vicinity to the financial district and the path train. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. We usually stay in a Jr. 1br suite which I highly recommend if you have a small group. The rooms comes with a large king size bed and full pull out couch with 2 flat screen TVs and lovely views of the Hudson and the city.

Came to NYC for a jazz festival on the lower east side, but visited many other parts of the city (Little Italy and Chinatown, Upper East/West Side, Harlem, Times Square). The hotel's location is great because of its proximity to the subway (Fulton station, half a block away, allows easy access north and east). Since the hotel is in the financial district, it is rather quiet on weekend evenings, but plenty to do in other parts of the city. The hotel itself was good; bigger than average rooms for NYC, we had western view from 44th floor, overlooking WTC site and river. Only complaint, no Wi-fi in hotel and expensive internet access in business room ($.69 a minute).

The views of lower Manhattan. Helpful staff. Noisy construction. Millennium Hilton is a great hotel, in a decent location in lower Manhattan, with a very helpful staff and a nice on site restaurant. Very convenient to catch the e-line to head uptown. The only downside is that it is right across the street from the WTC site and there is an enormous amount of construction going on. The hotel staff apologized for any inconvenience (it really wasn't even noticeable from our room on the 29 floor) and supplied ear plugs. I would recommend this hotel.

Great room placement, great view, nice staff, clean, comfortable bed, well priced, close to public transportation and downtown attractions. The picture over the bed. The hotel met all of our needs. If you are interested in the downtown attractions and don't mind a view of ground zero this hotel is great. We traveled easily uptown via the subway for a few bucks. The cab rides to China town and little Italy were cheap as well. The hotel is walking distance to battery park and the South st. seaport. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, convenience to subway. The room was small. Conveniently located in New York City's financial district - directly across from the old World Trade Center and overlooking the Hudson River. The area is far away from the kinetic theater district but close enough to access it. The accommodations were modern and clean with sufficient room amenities.

Location to Tribeca was great. There is nowow factor - but serviceable. This hotel upholds the high quality of the Hilton brand with location and service, but it does not have a unique wow factor. It suitably met our need for a less than 24-hour stay in NYC.

I liked the pool facilities. Ridiculously loud construction all day and night across the street. I did not sleep well. I was hoping for a nice, comfortable, quiet night's sleep after a 10 hour flight from Rome, but was unable to get it due to all night construction directly across the street. Had I known this was going on, I would not have chosen this hotel. I believe I payed far too much when considering the current conditions. It should have been much more discounted. I would stay their again, but only after the construction is completed.

The front desk is amazing and super helpful! I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. I was very happy with the location and proximity to hot spots such as Century 21 for shopping, Ground Zero, the Financial District, train stations, etc. The staff was so amazing and polite. The front desk was so helpful and always made eye contact, waved, smiled, etc. He's so pleasant and made my stay so much more enjoyable. I am so glad I stayed at the Millennium Hilton!

Thank me later. Our trip was a small getaway, which we were told we'd receive a free breakfast, notification if there was construction, and have a jacuzzi. All of those selling points were complete fabrications. There was no breakfast, (it's 26/pp for a mediocre buffet) There was a tremendous amount of construction at Ground Zero (which by the way should not be a tourist attraction.) And, as for the jacuzzi, many people complained that the hotel had completely made it up, b/c there was none. In addition, if you even OPEN the mini bar, you are accused of taking things out, because there is a sensor and you will automatically be charged, even if you didn't take anything. (I swear!) My bed upon arrival had hair all over the pillow, and to top it off, the staff was very rude, and unwelcoming. They did nothing to go out of their way to make the trip a memorable stay. I will never stay at another Hilton again, if you want a great value, try the Hyatt chain- they are never a dissapointment.

The hotel was no more than 5 minutes walk from three different subway stations, and with those you have easy access to the rest of the city. We had a 50th floor corner room overlooking the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, City Hall Park, and the reconstruction of the World Trade Center. The view was unbelievable- the hotel staff were even more so. I can't say enough about [...] (one of the concierge staff) and his knowledge of both the immediate area and the city as a whole. His recommendations were priceless when it came to pizza and ease of subway travel around the city. The front desk was very helpful when our luggage didn't make it to the airport with us, and the support staff at the hotel takes great pride in their work (from the housekeepers to the bellman) to make sure you have a wonderful experience. I know I'll be back as soon as my wife and I can afford to return, and when we do, this is the hotel we will be returning to.

Spacious room, clean, quiet and well-located to pubic transportation. Restaurant and room service were expensive and not particularly special. For ease of getting around NYC, as well as to and from the airport, you cannot beat the location. There were nearby Metro stations to all destinations. The Path train station was across the street. Restaurants, shopping and clubs are all close by. This hotel was well located for business or leisure travel. The hotel was new, clean and friendly. The room was well-appointed, comfortable, quiet and spacious.

The construction noise made it the value of this hotel close to zero. We had added a weekend stay to a business trip, but the construction just kept going. We had no warning ahead of time. I will never ever stay here again. While the amenities and rooms are nice, it does not make up for nights with no sleep. I'd rather sleep in a one star hotel. I cannot believe this hotel is even open given the noise. The construction went on all night!!!

We were visiting my son who lives in Brooklyn. We picked that hotel because we left the car at the Staten Island Ferry, took the ferry and it was an easy walk to the hotel. The only downside is that later at night there's not a lot of places to go for a drink. We sat and had drinks in the lobby and it was very expensive - 3 glasses of wine - $46. The breakfast menu was also expensive but we found an inexpensive deli for breakfast the next morning close to the NYSE and it was great.
