The traditional and cosy 3-star Miramar hotel is set on the privileged hill of Taoro Park, with stunning views of the sea, Mount Teide and the Orotava Valley. Its extraordinary location allows an easy access to the variety of options Puerto de la Cruz has to offer, yet ensuring a peaceful and relaxing holiday base. The hotel has 140 rooms, all with balcony or terrace, full bathroom and telephone. Safe and TV for rent. Most of our rooms offer magnificent views over the sea or Mount Teide. Due to the special features of our hotel and its surroundings, where relax and calmness prevail, as well as to our conviction that real holidays must differ as much as possible from our daily routine, our rooms do not offer TV as a standard. However, those who do not share our philosophy may rent one for their stay.

If you want tv in rooms then dont go here. In many ways very old fashioned - and that is not a complaint - lovely gardens - a good clean swimming pool and great bath/shower in spacious bathroom. The food is ok for this budget but the dining room reminded me of an institution and the piped music was terrible. We had to leave at 5.45am to get a flight and the alarm call was personal and there was a facility in the dining room to have coffee and toast before we left. For the money very good value - if they charged a bit more and improved the dining room and food they would be on a winner.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and each time we are greeted so warmly by all of the staff. The rooms are so clean - better then a lot of 5 star hotels I have stayed in. If you like the personal touch this hotel is the place to go where nothing is too much trouble. We can't wait to go back again as we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
