From the time I checked in to check out I had a great time at Montbleu. It has a great atmosphere and wonderful amenities and you don't have to go far. The pool and hot tub are great especially after being at the snow. And the snow is a short walk/drive away, along with shopping and restaurants. Also If you like to gamble it's all right there at your finger tips. I loved the Montbleu because everything you want or need is so close. I will definitely be recomending the Montbleu to friends and family.

We told the check in lady we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and she immediately upgraded us to a room with a spa. The room was beautifully decorated and the spa was a real treat. We were going to stay at the hotel across the street but when we called back they raised their rate from $29 to $59 so we went on-line and booked through you for $39 and what a deal it was!! This hotel was so far superior. We walked everywhere and enjoyed a nice breakfast at both hotels for $3.99. We also walked to the movies and there was plenty of shopping and gambling within walking distance.

If you want to sleep, don't go on a Saturday. Saturday is bachelorette night. They go to bed late and apparently cannot help but be LOUD in the halls enroute to their rooms. Parties coming and going at ALL hours.Rooms are also tired and in need of modernization. We'll be finding another place to stay next time.

"We were excited to stay at Montbleu for our anniversary weekend. We were not happy to find out after paying $* per night that the rooms had not been remodeled yet. The casino, lobby and restaurants are new but the rooms are the same old, worn down Ceasar's rooms that we've stayed in before. Not worth the money at all."

the Jacuzzi in the room was an excellent addition. We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The bed was wonderful and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. Room service was excellent!! We will stay there again!

The bed was comfortable and the rooms had great views. It was dirty and in need of updating. This old girl has been ridden hard and hung up wet. Business in Tahoe is down and they should be doing more to keep folks coming back.

"This hotel describes their facility as being an exquisite alternative. However, we had a much different experience. The nicest part of this place was the lobby. Their guest service is awful, their staff is oblivious and their facilities have much to be desired. This place is definitely not worth the money it costs! Stay somewhere else."

My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary in Lake Tahoe. We stayed at Montbleu the night we were married and thought it would be great to stay in the same room we stayed in ten years prior. What a mistake! My wife was so excited to stay in the same room ten years later until we walked into the room. She first noticed the pillows from the bed were on the floor and the linens were everywhere. I noticed the half eaten mexican food and trash all over the tables. Well to say the least we were upset. The front desk moved us to a suite across the hall. When we got into that room there was hair EVERYWHERE!!! In the jacuzzi, on the table, you name it. I recommend to stay ANYWHERE else than Montbleu. We will certainly NEVER go back!

vERY NICE ROOMS..I RESERVED A DELUX ROOM AND WAS PLESANTLY SURPRISED AT HOW NICE THE ROOM WAS. I WAS ATTEMPTING TO EXIT MY ROOM AND THE DOOR WOULDN'T OPEN BECAUSE OF FRESH PAINT ON DOOR JAM. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS NOT HAPPY. THE STAFF WERE MORE THAN ACCOMADATING BY UPGRADING MY ROOM TO A VERY CLEAN AND LUXURIOUS MINI SUITE W/ A JACUZZI BATH LARGE ENOUGH FOR FOUR, SURROUNDED BY MARBLE..DOUBLE VANITY..DOWN COMFORTERS..THE TRIP WAS UPSLOPE FROM THERE. THANKS AGAIN TO THE WONDERFUL STAFF. AS A MATTER OF FACT I AM BRINGING MOM FOR HER B-DAY AND THE AVEDA SPA.

After reserving (8 weeks in advance) wedding day appointments at their spa for hair, makeup and nails, I called to confirm only to discover that they had booked makeup, pedicure, and nail appointments ONLY. The hair person was now booked because it was a busy weekend and ""they were booked 2 weeks ago"". No kidding, that's why I booked 2 MONTHS BEFORE. They basically called me a liar saying I never asked for hair appointments and did absolutely nothing to try and fix the problem. Even the manager refused to help me, saying their reservations were NEVER wrong and I must be mistaken. Considering I booked for MY OWN WEDDING and there were four people in the room to confirm what I said, these people were totally incompetent and could not figure out what they were doing. At 100+ per hair appointment, you'd think they could handle reservations 2 months in advance.

"Very poor hotel - unrecognisable from website. Staff were slow and rude, rooms filthy with broken plumbing and heating, housekeeping is an ansaphone. Food is poor. Staff have no interest in resolving problems, conciege knows nothing about skiing but pretends he does. Worst hotel experience ever - were booked for aweek but left after 2 days - soon as we could find an alternative."

Everything was right there in the hotel! Food dancing gambling! Room was not a 4 star room. Bathtub was though. Had a blast. Hotel was right on the strip and the club inside. Went to eat late at night at the restaurant, 24 and the food and service were great!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and quite large. My only criticism is that the hotel tacks on a $10 charge when you check in for various ammenities: pool, newspaper, bottled water. You are still charged even if you don't want these ammenities.

Their spa was nice, but the place itself is a dump, an very overpriced. Showers have no soap dish or place to put your shampoo. The sink was clogged, the toilet lid cracked. Bedsheets had body fluid stains. The massages at the spa are good, but stay somewhere else. Just a really, really bad hotel room experience.

We were very disappointed with the accommodations at MontBleu. We were expecting an updated room but this was not the case. The room was clean, but the furniture and bathroom fixtures and the shower/tub were frightening. The bottom of the shower/tub bubbled up under your feet and moved with every step. The faucets leaked water and soaked anything you set on the counter. The bed was clean and comfortable. The couch was comfortable and not very useful, more like decor. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pool also needed some help. The floor of the pool was bubbled up and torn or squished a pocket under your feet. Restaurants left a little to be desired. We ate at the TwentyFour diner to avoid the price gouging of the other offerings. In the end, we'll never stay there again if we can help it and would not recommend to a friend. Blame management or owners, not the staff.

The hotel was great but the pool was closed. This was the only reason I had wanted to go to this hotel. They did upgrade us and told us we could use the pool at Horizon but it was across the street and the water was freezing. Neither the hotel or travelocity's website stated the pool was closed. Other than that we liked the hotel and the manager did their best to fix things.

"We have stayed in every kind of hotel in South Lake Tahoe from casino to privately own motel. This hotel was the worst I have ever seen. Rooms, staff attitude, everything was horrible. And I emailed them and got NO reply at all. They are awful"
