Good location. Noisy, walls thin,dirty - they haven't keep up this hotel. I stayed there 10 years ago when I thought it was a 4 star. Management has let this hotel go down hill. Very noisy. It’s apparent they aren’t spending any money to keep up the property. Disappointing.

I had the spa suite and it was great! the room was clean and casino was great, the buffet is well worth your and the pool was one of the best (loved the lazy river ) and we had no problem finding a chair there even when we went around 1:00pm. overall i'd give the MC 20 on a scale of 1-10 !

I enjoyed my last stay in the Monte Carlo but the arge amount of building work all around makes this a much less enjoyable place to stay even when finished it will be overlooked by glass apartments

I loved that its in the middle of the strip and beautiful. I would love to go back. As soon as we arrived they made us feel at home. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to please the guest.

Very nice decor, good check out system. The tub was clogged, showered in 3 inches of dirty bathwater. Nice hotel, good location on the strip. Check out was done on the TV, very convenient!

The cleanliness of this hotel was superb! This hotel did not have flat panel TV. Overall this hotel was attractive and very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that it did not have flat panel TV. Overall the experience was superb!

Very convenient to other casinos. Construction started at 4 am and kept us up. This hotel is convenient to other nice hotels on the strip. I was not impressed with the rooms and we didn't spend any time in the hotel/casino other than while we slept.

Big room. Nothing. Great hotel--we were only there for one day and didn't use many of the facilities, but check-in was fast and easy, and all of the food we had (room service and cafe) was great! Nice big room.

The location. They had me upgrade for 10 extra dollars a night and the view was nothing to write home about. I will not upgrade again. Great location, friendly staff. I will definitly stay here again. The rooms are small but in vegas your not in there a whole lot!

of the 3 pools at the hotel, 2 of them are in the shade all day. needless to say, the lounges around the pool that is in the sun are taken quickly. if you want the sun, get down no later than 10 a.m., otherwise you might miss your spot in the sun!!! and whn debris from the adjacent construction site flew into the pool not one person came to clean it up!!!!

Front desk and housekeeping are very unresponsive. We checked into the hotel around 4 PM. When we got to our room, the room was not made up - towels were on the floor, leftover food on the table, bed is all messed up, etc. We immediately called Housekeeping to have the room made up. By 7 PM, nobody came, so we called the Front Desk, hoping that we will get a better response.

While checking in we noticed that the person checking us in was not very friendly and did little to accomodate our party of six people. Our rooms all had two beds instead of King size beds we had requested when we booked our trip. Further, he did not give us any directions to our rooms, did not explain fully the comps that came with our booking. He seemed that he could care less we were there. We finally ended up speaking to someone with some authority and he accomodated us with rooms with king size beds and apoligized for his employee and also comped us to a dinner. Also, construction next door (City Center) was very noisy and very annoying. This was the second time we stayed at Montecarlo, our first experience was much better. We will not ever be staying at this hotel.

The casino was large, and spacious with lots of room to move around. There was a nice selection of casino machines. The room walls were very thin. We didn't like hearing what was going on in the room next door. The room was excellent for the price. The pool, Jacuzzi, and Lazy River were the best! The buffet was absolutely amazing; fresh and tasty, with a great selection of items. We will definitely return in the near future.

We have stayed in many hotels in Vegas and the Monte Carlo is by far the worse. Water pressure was very poor. Beds were hard. Windows were filthy. I would not recommend anyone stay at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas. The lobby looks pretty, but is deceiving.. Water pressure was very poor. Hot water was limited. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. The windows were so filthy you could barely see outside. The view was horrendous as we were provided with a view of enormous construction. The walls are so thin that I was awakening at 6 am to the sound of people talking. Only about 5 channels on the TV worked. The casino atmosphere was unfriendly.

Went to vegas for the first time to celebrate birthday with boyfirend. Excellent locale. The bus stop is directly across the street which takes you wherever you wish to visit. We only stayed on the strip but the all day pass which cost $7. per person was amazing. El diablos is right in front of the hotel and they have great music and margharittas. Everyone seems to go there to snack and drink. They are open till late as well so you can either start the day there or end it there. Next door is the NY NY hotel with the rooftop rollercoaster. About a block away is CVS where you can purchase snacks to keep in your room. The hotel has 24 fast food eateries so you dont have to worry about finding food if you get hungry in the late hours. The hotel buffet sucks but the steakhouse is great. Hotel is very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Great hotel for those that dont want to rent a car- want to be close to all the action. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Monte Carlo for 2 weeks in Aug 2009. Fantastic rooms great buffet fun fun fun by the pool . I will stay again, only disapointment view of the strip is great but when you look down towards the street you see the roof top of the casino, no big deal

Although the MC is not a 5 star hotel, everything I could say would be good! The rooms were clean. The pools were nice although crowded on Sat and Sunday, overall a party atmosphere. The Casino was spacious and not overcrowded like some others we went to. The food court provided inexpensive alternatives. Our group of 8 enjoyed it much better than a previous stay at the Planet Hollywood.

we stayed in august- 09 for 2 nights, the room was very clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the staff were very friendly. The pool was awsome, pool, wave pool,and lazy river. The buffet was the best.

Our room had the basic amenities. I was definately disappointed that the two queen beds did not have fitted sheets. Instead the bottom sheet on both beds was a flat sheet that was too small, perhaps meant to fit a full or twin. As a result, the bottom sheet was impossible to tuck on all sides and quickly exposed the mattress when tossing and turning....a real hassle that constantly need adjusting!!! The Monte Carlo Resort should be able to furnish it's beds with sheets that are size appropriate.

I would definetly stay here again. Check-in was very quick and the service was very nice. All employees were very nice and helpful. My room was cleaned every day. The buffet was good and the line was not very long to get in, even late mornings.

Housekeeping staff was nice. Bed, shower, tub, room temperature, pillows, linens, mattress protector, carpet, smell of room, etc. Would never purposely stay there again.
