Lovely, spacious and clean bedroom with a massive bed. Although it's out of town it's very easy to walk into Cork (10 minutes), although the uphill return might be a bit much for some people but you can get a bus mostof the way.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the sunday lunch carvery option, not bad value and very tasty. The bar snacks were convenient but a bit overpriced for what you were getting. It is up a very steep hill so not very good if you dont like walking, but there is a pub, take out and shop within easy walking distance. Rooms were very clean and had all of the basics for a short break, and the availability of the health suite was also an added bonus!
