Food was ok. Creaky floorboards, but it is an old building and therefore interesting.

This was ghastly, Too many fo the staff were useless. They didn;t even do the basics right. It's minus two stars at best. A shame because it's a got a great position with some nice but hopeless people running it.

Staff very pleasant - hotel needs solid investment - food agreeable - bathroom needs updating and water pressure needs to be corrected - TV needs a skip. The view from room 3 was spectacular - both day and especially by night. - That's the reason I would put up with the rest, to stay again.

the reception girl was super friendly and the breakfast was good. however, the decor was very shabby and the hotel itself would have benefitted from a good clean. our 'newly refurbished room' was ok although the standard of work was extremely poor. it lacked furniture and a phone but even a decent tv with remote may have helped!

The food at this hotel was excellent and the newly refurbished restaurant beautiful. However don't stay in room 7. It was cold, there was a draught through the window, the radiator was barely warm, the furniture was shabby, the bed head wasn't connected to the bed, the desk was falling apart and the en suite was shabby. The hotel had a party on the night I stayed, I could hear this but had been assured that it would finish by 11p.m unfortunately it was still noisy at midnight.

Do not stay at this hotel on a Friday night if you want to get to sleep before 1am!!!!!!!!!!! Live music in the hotel on a Friday night finishes at 12am. We were not informed of this prior to booking or upon arrival. The local 'youth' then hang around after the music has finished. I was in room 5 at the front of the hotel and did not get to sleep until 4am. The road was very noisy and you can hear every car going up / down the road. The hotel staff are all young and lack customer service skills, including knowledge of the local area. When asked for a nice restaurant I was informed \"donimoes\" is nice if you like pizza but I don't really know as I don't live in Malvern. The breakfast was awful. Checking out was a chore as the receptionist struggled to print the correct invoice, however the fire alarm was a possible distraction - not enough so as to evacuate the hotel!!!

This hotel really needs a face lift. It was superficially clean but I didn't want to look too closely and the reception area needed a serious tidy. First impressions are very important. After checking in and seeing the state of the reception we were relieved that the bedroom wasn't as bad as we had anticipated. The bathroom smelt damp and the shower barely worked. It was a bit like going back in time. The bed looked lovely with clean white sheets and pillows but the mattress clearly had seen better days. Everything creaked! There was no double glazing and our room was at the front on the street, which was very noisy. Breakfast was over cooked which was a big disappointment because we were told that the chef did the best scrambled eggs ever, and the smoked haddock was almost inedible. On the bright side the staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. It was a very wet weekend when we stayed and so it might not have looked so bad if the sun had been shining but I expect better from a hotel these days.

The Hotel was easy to find and had a good position. Our room had a very good view. But it need updating and painting badly it has the looks that it has not changed since the 50's. It also needs somebody to organise the staff and running of the hotel.

The hotel room was quite cold & water pressure very low, took 45mins to run a bath, plus the jacuzzi didn't work.
