The bedding is of poor quality, the bathroom was not impressive. The small couch in the TV room was old in need of replacement. The lighting in the room was poor, the whole place is noisy and the smell of cigarrette smoke lingers throughout the place. The hotel staff retained my passport when I checked in; the reason was for police check. This is the first time that this every happened to me while traveling through Dubai. I have passed through Dubai at least five times in the past two years and never went through such treatment.

Service was good, but that is about it. The hotel needs a lot of TLC. The curtains had holes in them. There wasn't enough hot water. I do not think this is a 3 star hotel...I would say 1 star! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
