The room was small. The safe in the room did not function. There was no space to unpack clothing, dresser drawers were lacking. The location is excellent, and the free breakfast is a plus. Given costs today, the price is fair. Would we stay there again? I am not certain.

The Normandy is a wonderful hotel, not too fancy, not too plain. The marble and wood entrance, beautiful winding staircase greet you along with a very frielndly helpful staff. Location close to Louve. The room has the charm of a hotel room you might expect in the 1930's. Large enough, good size bathroom with old fashioned large swing windows, small crystal chandelere, and radiator. The bed was a regular for two female friends that looked as if it was sinking in the middle. We were able to get a day bed (twin size) that tilted slightly to one side. Still we were comfortable. It was clean and quaint. With an investment in new mattresses, I think it would be an excellent choice.
