A very pleasant surprise. Initially booked the hotel as I couldn't find anything else for my dates but from now on it will be my first choice. Enormous room (suite) overlooking Queen's Park Recreational grounds with high picture windows, tea and coffee tray & biscuits, huge bathroom with a corner bath / shower, candles, toiletries. Staff couldn't have been nicer - unobtrusive but highly efficient. Highly recommended.

Took this hotel as usual hotels in Glasgow were full. Hotel was fine and comfortable. Be aware - only off road parking is on drive (room for 3 cars), no dining room (great Italian restaurant 5 mions walk away); gardens opposite are not that attractive (but safe); room was clean and comfortable - King size bed is in fact two singles pushed together with a big headboard! Shower was fantastic. Could do with a comfortable chair in the room. Breakfast was funny - don't think I was expected to turn up for it - seemed a shock to the staff! Breakfast was basic, not great, but perfectly adequate. As for the blurb - would not spend a romatic visit there with my wife, but was perfectly acceptable as a one night stay on business in Glasgow.
