Internet access is $15 euro even in common area not good for a high priced hotel.

The hotel is in the commercial district but within walking of shopping and right beside the main bus routes and metro. The spa was to a very high standard. While the rooms are a little old fashioned they were clean and tidy. Room service was very expensive with a basic breakfast at 18 Euro per person! The staff were obliging and friendly.

Definitely worth staying in - not least for the proximity of the metro - literally next door. Friendly, helpful - good!

Shabby, small rooms even by european standing, old carpets, with indentions in the floors best describes our rooms. It was a poor presentation overall for a supposed 5 Star Hotel: worn-out beds, shabby curtains, and flooring, 1970's decor. We spent 28 Euros per person the first morning at their breakfast buffet which was a fair price but the food was limited and not worth the price given its value. Hotel staff was helpful but the staff at the so called spa was rude and unhelpful. We have stayed at other 3 Star Hotels in Madrid that were much nicer.
