Terrific location close to shops & restaurants. Well appointed suites as standard. Parking really expensive - $46 per day. My wife and I stayed over a Saturday night to attend a downtown party and then do Christmas shopping. The location is right on Michigan Avenue in the heart of the shopping district. The rooms are suites with separate living and sleeping areas. Our room was clean and luxuriously appointed. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only turn-off was the very hefty parking fee - $46 per day.

Centrally located and wonderful staff that accommodated our every need. The hotel was located in the heart of Downtown Chicago with easy access to mass transit and all points of interest. I would highly recommend staying here as the staff was very accommodating and the services were on par with any luxury hotel I've stayed in.

This hotel was very nice and it felt clean. Room service provided a good selection, great food, and a quick delivery even in the early AM. The hotel's location was perfect. It is in the heart of the magnificent mile. Although I thought there would be a direct view of the water. But it was not too far to walk to. The bellman delivered service with a smile and courtesy.

It was chic and upscale in appearance. The staff was either apathetic, unavailable, or uninformed. The location and decor met expectations and the room was comfortable; however, the staff was profoundly disappointing for this level of accommodation.

Its location was perfect. Right off of the magnificent mile and the room was beautiful! When we went to take a shower there wasn't any hot water. They gave us a key and we had to shower in another room. I would recommend this to anyone. The service was superb, the room was beautiful, and the location was perfect!

The Omni was nice, but it was not amazing & up to my expectations so I will try somewhere else next time. Excellent service at check-in & they allowed early check in which was great. Room was nice & clean but I expected nicer for 4 star. The robes were kind of stiff; I expected more of a plush robe. I guess the website pictures always make everything look bigger & better. Same goes for the pool/ hot tub. Nice but smaller than it looks in the picture. We did not get maid service the 2nd day we were there. We finally called & room got cleaned around 5pm. They did send a slice of cake & bottle of water with a card to our room when they found out it was our anniversary. Nice touch. Great location; very central to shopping, dining, Navy Pier, Millenium Park, etc. We walked everywhere! The Omni staff also let us check out late, which really helped with our travel plans. They were quite helpful.

It very clean. The soap smelled great. It had a flat screen TV. We were given a queen bed with handicapped facilities. Construction just outside our window was very loud. The Omni hotel is very nice. The Omni is located on Michigan Ave., a wonderful location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our only disappointment was the construction outside our window beginning at eight in the morning. We would stay there again however and I recommend it to others.

The Omni was chosen for it's location whichworked out perfectly. The bedding was wondeful and everything seemed fairly clean ...until...I sat down in the tub...there was BLACK MOLD in the soap holder, in the cracks on the walls between the tile, all under the tile overhang above the tub and completely around the toilet bowl. Needless to say I drained the tub and took a shower...I really don't care for showers. Oh yes...the toilet leaked as well...The staff were very helpful but I was disappointed. I travel extensively and don't think I will return. we needed color copies for a business meeting and their printer was broken, so the man in the business center took the jump drive to another part of the hotel, printed the presentation and delivered it to our room. They try! We booked online for a weekend package and got a room on the 10th floor with a view of the windows of another building...but we weren't there too much.

We stayed at the Omni from Feb. 12-15 and it was wonderful. We arrived early and checked in immediately and stayed on the top floor in a large luxurious suite. The location was convenient to the bus down Michigan Avenue so we were able to get to museums, restaurants, and parks easily. The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. Breakfast at the 676 restaurant was fresh and delicious with a huge variety to select from. The staff went out of their way to be kind and courteous. We definitely recommend the Omni hotel!

I took my boyfriend for his birthday in December '08. We had an amazing time and the Omni was definitely a great choice. I agonized for weeks about which hotel to stay at (it always seemed that just as I was about to pick one, a really negative review would pop up!) I had no reason to worry. I upgraded to the one big room instead of the small suite (the charge to upgrade varied anywhere from $* to $*, depending on the day and time I looked it up) and I was very happy with the room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the view was nice and the location was absolutely amazing. We were within walking distance of almost everythig (and even when we took a cab, it was never more than $10). We didn't go to the gym or pool but we did eat at the restaurant. The brunch was amazing but we went for an afternoon snack and it was a little disappointing. They didn't have any of the ""usual bar foods"" and popcorn (which was delicious) and a cheese plate cost us around $30. The staff was incredibly nice, always greeting us and patient and helpful with directions and advice on where to go/eat/visit. We also were able to check in about an hour early and check out an hour late with no problem. The front desk also held our bags after we checked out so we could sightsee before we went to the airport. There is no place you can stay where everyone will be satisfied all the time, but as far as our visit went, for the price, I would absolutely stay at the Omni again.

I am not a complete clean freak, but expect when I check into an all suite hotel, where I paid to be upgraded to have the room clean upon checking in. The desk glass top was dirty with crumbs and a drinking glass had sticky smudges on it. I took the glass down and spoke with the hotel manager, who was excellent btw, and moved to a new room. I should have had her come with because that room had a can of SKOAL sitting on the closet shelf, a dirty glass desktop and coffee table, and a wadded up panty hose in the corner. I gave up at that point. The staff here is EXCELLENT however, but their housekeeping is horrible. They need to train them better.

The location was good, and the room was attractive. A cold shower and housekeeping could be better. Nice room with two TVs, but the hot water went out and the sink was slow to drain. Layout to the bathroom was not user friendly.

"Weather was very cold. Thermometer was turned up to 80 but the room never got very warm. Pocket door between bedroom and bathroom was partially off it's track and made a lot of noise when slide open or closed during the night. Asked to have it fixed but that never happened in the three days we were there. Pool area was also very cold. Otherwise, a very nice hotel. Room was large. Nice bed. Good location. Best feature being the very friendly, helpful staff at the door, loby and in housekeeping. "

Separate bedroom, 2 TV's, wet bar with sink, and location. Very limited items on room service, bar & restaurant closed at 12 (we were on a late flight from CA). Front desk staff had no alternative for us to obtain food after late night arrival from the west coast (after a plane ride without food service). The bartender when asked suggested a great restaurant (& bar) that was open until 4 only a few blocks away. The hotel is in a great location to get to everything in Chicago, most within walking distance. The suite style rooms afford privacy and an ability to stretch out. We did have to get a new room key each day as we were told to keep it away from cell phones and magnetic snaps (how do two gals into shopping eliminate those items from their purses?).

They responded well to the bug infestation we ran into twice. We had to move rooms twice due to spider infestations without accommodations the first time. The lobby was very clean. Upon check-in we were very happy with the hotel; however when we began to run into problems - spiders, room services issues, in-room movie issues, and hotel staff un-cooperativeness we began to get slightly annoyed. They moved us to another room after the first spider incident but it happened again. I had one hotel staff member tell me that it was to be expected for the time of the year and to just squish it. Another incident occurred when I had to request the room to be visited by house-keeping three times just to have the sheets changed. We have determined that we will never stay at another Omni Hotel. The location was excellent, right in the middle of everything, but certainly not worth the stress of moving twice for spiders!

Location was wonderful. They were painting the exterior during day time hours. Very nice, courteous staff and king suite was lovely. TV in bedroom could be upgraded and safe in closet might have combo lock as possible improvements. Otherwise, the hotel was lovely.
