The room was very small which is not a problem but the shower was broken and any water that did come out was cold. I reported this to reception but they did not appear that concerned for me. It is worth noting I was staying in the annexe across the road. I have stayed in the main hotel before where the rooms were fine and generally the staff are very helpful.

Hotel check inI waited 10 minutes to check in. Only one member of staff running reception. Too slow.Room was good but so small. Not big enough for 2 people.The kettle for morning tea /coffee could not be filled from the tap as the basin was so small.

i wasn't expecting much after reading some of the feedback from previous guests but i was surprised/pleased with what i saw. the room was small but clean, hot water 24/7 and although our room was on the ground floor, there was peace and quiet. Would stay here again for sure.

room was unrefurbished and very cramped. flat screen tv was hanging off the wall and a regular tv was squeezed into the room. on the plus side: sheets were clean, shower was clean and pretty good.

I was at the top of the building, no lift. There was a stair where the carpet was dangerously loose. Room was very small. Good TV screen. Quiet. Pillow was too thin and a postage stamp size. Shower door did not fit properly - water came out and soaked the towel I deliberately laid there. Good location. Food was fine - most hotels serve coffee if nothing else.

Biggest problem was checking in - which is done at the Best Western hotel across the road - not that it tells you that anywhere on the Late Rooms website! Once you find reception the service is frankly chaotic although the staff try to tbe friendly and helpful. The room, although small, was recently refurbished and fine for my business overnight stay, with the added benefit of a fridge and microwave so I didn't have to go out for dinner.
