I can't really find any complaints unless I am just nitpicking. It isn't on the Strip, but once you are at The Palms ,who cares? I was treated like a Rock Star(Im NOT). The pool was excellent, shopping was good, 24/7 hit the spot and was very affordable. We enjoyed the casino and the staff was friendly, helpful. Check in/out was a breeze. The bath products were very nice, you'll be smelling minty! I hope every visit will be like this one, because I plan on making a few more!

Comfortable beds, pretty rooms. We had to stay in Las Vegas because of a road trip, so we knew we'd need to deal with casinos and such. But the palms is over and above on the "oh my goodness" scale and we kept having to distract our kids from seeing things. Even the hotel TV wasn't safe because the opening menu had photos of strippers, so we had to have them cover their eyes until we could get to the regular channels.

Great restaurants.. great nightlife..bars were so fun there. Pool was nice.. and lots of people watching to do. The rooms were modern and clean. We had an awesome view. It is not on the stript, but close cab ride. There was plenty to do with the clubs and gambling at the palms. Loved it there, not kid friendly, but awesome for adults wanting to have fun!

This was our first stay at the Palms and after staying on the strip for many years, this was definately a change. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfy! The casino is much smaller and not as many tables as we would have liked. Overall I would recommend the Palms

As a young couple with some of our friends (we are all in our mid-twenties), we LOVED the palms. I was worried at first that it was too hyped up but we really felt like millionaires staying there. The best part is the fact that some great night clubs are right in the hotel, we didn't have to leave and walk up and down the strip at 4 in the morning. We went to Rain, Ghostbar and the Playboy Club. If you are looking to really experience the amazing Vegas nightlife, I definitely recommend staying here.

The Palms was a wonderful hotel. The only complaint I would have is that the rooms were kind of plain, nothing exciting, no theme to the room. Maybe they figure most people won't be in their room for long periods of time so why put too much into the decor. Other than that, it was great. The pool was fabulous, great service, drinks and music. The hotel management was very accomodating. We had one incident where some work was being done on the floors above us and woke us up at 4 a.m. We informed the hotel staff and they gave us a late check out on our last day and a free meal at any restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is very clean and well-kept. We visited several nightclubs in the hotel and those were very nice. If you want a fabulous meal go to N9NE Steakhouse. Best food I've had in a very long time. Also Nove Italiano is a very nice restaurant with great food and the service at both restaurants was superb!!! All in all it was a wonderful experience. Will definitely stay there again.

Overall very good experience and value. The location is great if you do not want to deal with the traffic and tourists of the strip. The rooms are a good value. You will get down comforters, pillows and comfortable bed. The rooms nor casino will not have the opulence of say the Bellagio (stay away...Bellagio is a big hassle with a 'we don't need your business' attitude). The hotel also lacks a theme, this is definitely better than something rediculous like Aladdin, but has not defined itself with anything in particular. All the clubs charge fees to get in, i.e. Payboy Club and Rain Nightclub. The Hotel restaurants are average and overpriced like with any casino. It does have a food court (never ate there) which may be good for people or families on a budget. The more I go to Vegas, the more I try to stay away from the gimmicks of the strip...this is definitely a good alternative. Have Fun!

We picked the Palms this time because it the best deal by far. We stayed in a junior strip with a decent view of the corner of the strip. Our junior suite was not ready by 3 p.m. when we tried to check in, so after a forty-five minute wait, they "upgraded" us to the Fantasy Tower where the Playboy club is located. The room was nice, but nothing to write home about. Everything was very clean, it had a nice jacuzzi shower/tub combo, and had a couch, wet bar, safe, and flat screen TV. A pretty good deal for the money. The casino is loud and packed at night, with lots of people lined up trying to get into the clubs. We went elsewhere for dinner and entertainment. The breakfast cafes had good food and were relatively inexpensive. The pool was a bit of a letdown- it is not that large- and you must get there very early to get a decent seat. Lots of pretty women, though. Overall rating: B. I am thinking Caesar's, Bellagio, or Mandalay Bay next time.

The Palms location is poor with respect to the Vegas strip and the amenities are sub-par compared to the other hotels on the Vegas strip that we frequented. We found the hotel staff to be ambivalent and without regard to our needs or issues.

The Palms is hip and happening for the young crowd though the older crowd can still appreciate it. Food was great and staff was overall very friendly. Room was clean upon arrival but on the third day, housekeeping never came to clean or change the sheets. We had to call down to have someone come and clean the room and bathroom and I was very annoyed about that. I didn't like the fact that there was no bathtub in the bathroom, only a shower which wasn't enclosed (only had a shower liner) so when you take a shower, the whole floor gets wet. We had to put towels down on the whole floor just to take a shower. There are plenty of great restaurants to eat at at the Palms and the prices are very reasonable. The buffet was a great value for the price. Next time I go to Vegas, I will definately opt for a hotel on the strip so that I have access to the life of Vegas. The Palms was only a short shuttle or bus ride away from the Strip but waiting in the hot heat is very undesirable and drained the energy out of me.

I enjoyed my stay at The Palms Hotel. Rooms were very nice, comfortable and restaurants and other amenities were fantastic. Great Pool and fitness center, and good choice of restaurants to eat at right in the Hotel. Also was nice to have the movie theater right there also. I would highly recommend this Hotel, and will stay there again on next visit.

Arrived at The Palms at around 10:30 am on a Sunday and attempted to check in. In my first attempt, I tried to give the receptionist a 20 dollar tip for a comped upgrade, but that failed miserably. They told me the rooms were not ready yet and that they would call me when it was. We then went to the all you could drink champagne brunch at the buffet, not bad. A little pricey at $18, but it was okay. So, we gambled a little bit and walked up to the Rio, walked back and tried to check in again. STILL NOTHING! Finally at around 3:00 we were able to get into the room. Did a little bit more gambling at the Palms, then we headed up to the strip. This is the one problem with the Palms, is the taxi rides to the strip can become expensive. Did I mention that I have never seen so many good looking young women in one casino, it was amazing. It is for sure a lot younger crowd that stays here. All seem to be good looking, wealthy, and young. California types, a little too hip for a drunken gambler like myself, even though I am only 23. The table limits were typically around 10-15 min. and the video poker at the palms is hard to beat. Their food court proved to be very nice when looking for a cheap and quick meal, they have a McDonalds, chinese, and a pizza place. On the last night there, we went up to the Playboy club, it is great. $25 a hand blackjack dealt by smokin' hot playboy bunnies, dressed in cute outfits. Club Moon was packed to the gills, not my scene. All in all, I would stay here again if the price were right. Otherwise, I would rather stay right up on the strip.
