Me and my boyfriend came down on memorial weekend, the location is great, perfect if you like to patty!!!! it's in the middle of everything on the strip.... we came from thurs til monday and it was crazyyyy on the stripp. however, don't expect no 4 or 5 star hotle cuz this is not the place.. but its just average.. 4th july weekend will be great time to coem if you don't like the memorial weekend crowd. memorial weekend is more for rappers. alot of people from southside come down ... i think 4th jly will be a better weekend for some people.. this hotel is not bad. the rooms could be more bigger and fsncier maybe a lil cleaner too. i guess they need to hire more people.... and the concierges need to help people with their luggage more. they didnt ask us to help with the luggage luckily our room was on the 2nf floor and they had a elevator.

Very nice hotel, a little too crowded on the weekends to walk around, the crowds have gotten scary looking lately lol. No complaints about the hotel. The restaurant is very good, a little pricey like everywhere else on Ocean dr . I would stay in this hotel again

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms/bathrooms small but clean and nicely restored to give that nostalgic feel. Location is ideal if you want to truly experience South Beach

Hubby and I stayed here for New Years Eve, and loved the hotel. You have to understand that SOBE is OLD - none of the hotels are fancy or plush. This hotel was very clean, the rooms were a nice size - great plazma TV, pedestal sink but with ample shelves for any woman. Used sheets on top of blankets for more sanitary bedding. Location was GREAT! Pool was small, bu nice - we only used once as was kind of shaded. Rooftop deck was great to escape a windy day on the beach. Staff were very friendy. News cafe 1 block down has fabulous breakfasts. Larios/Bongo Cafe 3 blocks up in the Shore Hotel has great cuban food - we had lunch there this trip, and last year too - good prices. Go up to the end of Ocean Drive - I think it's 16th Street, and you'll find Tequila Chicas wich has 100 Tequilas on the menu - beer prices weren't bad. Barfood was good. Oceans 10 is a good Sports Bar on once side, and entertainment on the other - good place. Will definately stay at this hotel next visit - very happy!

I stayed back in March it was the most enjoyable stay. The staff were excellent i setup arrangements to be put in the room before i got there for my Husbands birthday and everything was just the way i wanted it. They gave free passes to the club. They new me when the saw me great location it just gave you the at home feel.... i will stay there until i'm forced to fine something better.

Stayed for three days...would go back in a heart beat! Inside room for two on a budget (Tues-Fri) perfect. Clean, clean, clean....quiet, quiet, quiet for being on Ocean Drive!!! Dble beds very comfortable. Amenities in bathroom excellent. Service was outstanding at front desk, concierge, and bellhop. Valet service speedy. Restaurant options were plenty....both inside hotel at Quinn's as well as 1-2 blocks either side of hotel....and on up Ocean Drive. Biggest plus was beach across the street.
