Outrageous management philosophy in this hotel!Goes along the lines of RIP the customer off and treat them like idiots if they complain!!A hotel that charges expensive rates and on arrival provides NO CAR PARKING SPACE to only then charge you £10 on check out to park on double yellow lines in the middle of the drive through! WELL DONE GUYS !Even your own security team are annoyed with you at the clear like of management dealing with the situation! Staff morale must be fantastic in the place. On discussion with the on-duty manager I not only received no apologies for the state of the situation, I also received a rude, ill mannered and under prepared manager.Even the security, concierge and receptionist where clearly lacking in confidence about the on-duty manager of the day!!On check in of the room I find TV broken! Not hard is it to provide the simple things in life!Looking at the room service menu to be charged £25 for a raw burger and potato wedges(clearly the chef does not understand what medium to well done is, or even better I guess he can't cook!) can be clearly seen as DAY LIGHT ROBBERY !Well done Park Inn management, I look forward to seeing what delights you will RIP me OFF with on my next stay! Thanks for the journey!

The concierage was very helpful-a chap from Ireland. The little Italian place with take out pizza made my daughter's day-so we could return to the room and watch Wimbledon coverage. The air conditioning was fabulous after a hot two weeks in Europe- and the proximity to terminal 4-can't be beat!

hotel for night before flightgot a cheap price, room was clean but small, with view of metal roof and planes taking off. a bit noisy and stuffy - tho window opened. They had nice modern decor but basically an old room with bits of chunky plaster and aluminium window frames etc. I assume reception staff on low wages as service and explanation were quite poor. £10 parking okay. hardly anything close by for food or interest. will try somewhere a bit further from airport next time.

Booked in and was offered an upgrade to executive room for extra £20 which I took. However, the toilet wouldn't flush, phone didn't work, stains on furniture. So dragged all my luggage back to reception where I had to wait sometime to get another room as the queue was quite long. Got another room and the furniture was atill stained, but decided to stay put. When went to pull the curtains shut, one came loose and had to put a chair against it to prop it up

I have traveled to 58 foreign nations and I found this hotel a good value, because of the nearnest to the airport. The check in agents were very friendly and helpful. I did not eat at this hotel because I did not find a cafe for breakfast and like all hotels around the world their food prices are much to expensive for a person that travels as much as I do. I would recommend they have a snack bar like we did when I was the CEO of the La Auberge hotel in Sedona, Arizon. I understand food cost are high in England but they need to do a better job on a moderatly priced breakfast and sandwiches. I would recommend the hotel for its location, cleaniness, friendly service and ease to travel to and from the airport.RespectfullyGene Barkdoll

I just used the hotel as a stopover before an early flight the next day. It's about as close as you can get to the airport. I didn't use any of the hotel facilities. The bedroom was small but comfortable and quiet. You can get a good rate with an advance internet booking. Fast and efficient check-in/check-out. No courtesy transport to the terminals: your choices are the airport bus service (4GBP per person each way) or taxi (12 to 15GBP each way). Be aware that getting to Terminal 4 is significantly more difficult than Terminals 1,2,3 and 5. (The same applies to most other Heathrow airport hotels.)

Took approx 30mins to get checked in as was a huge queue with only 2 members of staff who were extremely slow and rude. When eventually got the key to room as walked 10mins to find the room, as place so badly signposted, the card key would not open the door. No staff available to asist and no telephones to call reception. Had to visit reception twice to get the key to work. Visited the solo hotel restaurant. Prices were extremely high and the food very poor quality. Overall, a terrible experience at this hotel

We were originally booked into the older, cheaper rooms which were absolutly awful, they were damp and dirty. When I checked although it was busy the staff were not that helpful. However when we decided to change rooms the lady behind reception was very helpful and the rooms were really nice. i think that those older rooms need to be refurbished. They were not nice at all.

The hotel was very busy and had a 30min wait at the front desk to book in. The car park athough very large was packed solid, resulting in very long walk from car to the main reception which appears to be the only exit / entrance to the hotel. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, especially in bar / restaraunt.

This hotel was very good value for money - we had the stop & go pakage where you could leave your car at the hotel for 8 days which is great as it saves hassle of airport parking and is a good price. The car park was very busy, however we managed to get a space as we arrived early afternoon. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful when we had a problem with the TV in the room - the engineer was with us within 5 minutes. Despite there being no direct shuttle to terminal 4, it only cost £15 each way in a taxi (the concierge arranged the outward taxi for us). Overall, very handy and we would go back if we were flying from Heathrow again.

Nice room, shame about the restaurantOverall very nice and would recommend. However, one negative is the restaurant, put me in mind of a Butlin's Holiday Camp (remember those), with its long tables and everyone thrown in together. Rather impersonal and though practical for the hoardes, not very appealing. I decided to have room service instead, which was fine. I did ring to say the tray could be picked up when I had finished as requested on the room menu, but it was still outside my door when I left in the morning.

The beds are far too soft in this hotel for my liking. I managed to pull and muscle in bed moving round and that coupled with a 12 hour flight to Japan left my back in a state of spasm. Not good. If you like soft beds then this place would be fine. The restaurant was a buffet, the food was fine.

The hotel was well positioned near to Heathrow airport, although we took a taxi from terminal 1 instead of the hoppa bus(worked out cheaper as a group of us £11 total). My room itself was missing the kettle I had expected along with the remote control for the TV. Minor issues but still.... The hotel was very clean and well maintained with modern decor. The bar downstairs was very lively and a good place to spend the evening whether in a group or alone. Generally a large hotel with good ammenities (we didn't have time to use the pool unfortuately) Well worth the price paid on laterooms.com I would definately recommend it.

We booked for 2 nights and arrived with our confirmation(proof) but hotel had only one night booked. We were then put into a disabled room with no bath, low level wardrobes. We politely asked to be moved and were TOLD to wait and someone would come, no-one did so we carried our stuff to reception again. We were then given a second room which the bed divan looked grubby with no valance sheet and furniture was worn and scruffy. The first meal we had we thought was expensive until we found out the next day we had been charged for 2 starters, 2 sweets that we hadn't had and also all wine was charged at a higher rate than ordered, we then paid VAT and a 12.5% service charge on the things we didn't have to boot. The second evening we were wiser and complained when the bill came as it seems standard practice to try it on again! The business facilities we attended for were excellent and I would certinly use these again and all staff served with a smile.

Park Inn is very near to Heathrow aiport. This place may not be a good place to stay if you planning to visit London since it is far from central london. The facilities were really good. The breakfast buffet was good, but for dinner the options were limited. There are no restaurants near by, so you would have to eat in the hotel restaurant. Room was comfortable. There is a bus shuttle every 15 mins to various terminal of Heathrow aiport and this is very useful.

Park Inn HeathrowThe Hotel is in a very good location, probably the closest hotel to Heathrow Airport. I booked this hotel only because it boasted of a swimming pool on the hotel Internet site, unfortunately when we arrived the receptionist informed that it was closed for the next 2 weeks! I complained and the answer I got was 'I will inform them' The room was clean and basically OK, but not really 4* one of the curtains was damaged and we had to ask for a kettle to be delivered to our room as it was missing? The fridge has no room to store personal drinks. The fish tank water in the lobby was cloudy and a dead fish was being eaten by the others which upset my Grandson. On the positive side the buffet meal was excellent and great value for money and the waitress was very friendly and efficient.Would we stay there again.....what do you think????

After reading the poor reviews about room and noise, I made a point of speaking to reservations (a very nice lady) who ensured that I had a good room hence the high score. The check-in was apalling and the parking ludicrously bad, unless you want to drive your car onto hedges and trees and park dangerously. Then they have the cheek to charge you £10 a night to park. It seemed to be bad all the time I was there (17:00 - 12:00 next day)! The bar staff in the new restaurant were so rude and so determined to fleece the \"punter\". They were happy to charge for £2 for a bowl of nuts at the bar, where a pint already costs near £5, clearly geared for guests on expenses. A £2.50 a head charge appeared for service (?) at breakfast. The breakfast was great though. However, the queue just to to get into dinner was unbelievably long and the staff seemed to not care. I got a take-away pizza in the end! Summary - great bedroom thanks to the reservations lady - mostly everything else was such a bad experience.

This is very handy for T123 (via Hoppa bus), less so for T4&5. Rooms are reasonable size and simply furnished in an attractive style. 24-hour room service is prompt, hot and tasty. Only restaurant is a buffet, with theme changing nightly and quite pricey. Have stayed a number of times, as its is reliably good for an overnighter, but have never yet made it to the leisure facilities.

We stayed for one night prior to travelling to Heathrow very early the next morning. We got very little sleep as the airconditioning unit had a fault on it where it became very noisy, when we rang the desk at 02.30am we were advised that someone would come to the room but they would not be able to fix the fault until they could get a maitenance person in the morning, we we were leaving the hotel at 05.00 they were advised not to bother. I reported the problem the next morning and my disatisfaction with this issue but got very little support and as I needed to leave on the transfer bus to the airport I had to leave. This was my first stay in this hotel which is certainly not cheap, I will go back to using others in the vicinity where service is better.

The hotel had not received our reservation prior to our arrival so we had to be checked in from scratch. The rooms were not nice newly done-up rooms as depicted on the website, there was very old, battered furniture, mould on the tile grout in the bathroom along with a dripping hot tap in the sink. My colleague's room was the same. When I tried to check out in the morning my room had been registered under my colleagues name and details (so he had 2 rooms registered) so I had to go through all of the registration details again. The shuttle bus to the airport turned out to be a public transport bus with a charge of £4 each to get to the airport and it arrived 20mins. late. We got a taxi back to the hotel after our trip for only £5.60 and were back within 5 mins.All-in-all it was not a good experience!

Parking was a major problem at this hotel there was cars parked all over the place very difficult to get your car in and out , car park was not very well lit either so was difficult to find places.. Rooms were not like advertised on the internet but still clean, pillows were awful completely flat and worn out, but still the rooms were ok The restaurant bravo was the most appauling food in the evening, very over priced , and poor service . we paid for a buffet and there was hardly any selection things had run out and it was only 7pm . food was dry and i found it difficult to swallow the chicken for that kind of money you would expect a lot more. One good comment is that the breakfast in the morning was lovely good job as i went to bed hungry after the awful food the night before

Based on the hotel's 4 star rating and room descriptions, (and the fact that the rooms were refurbished in 2005), we were expecting a large, well decorated and comfortable room. The standard room they gave us was a small, depressing room that was poorly decorated without any art or color whatsoever. (Even my husband commented that he did not want to stay in this room for the night and he is used to rough accommodations in India and Thailand). After lodging a complaint at the front desk, we were moved to a business level room (thus the high customer service ranking above) and it basically met our original expectations but was not a great value for the money. Breakfast was not included, and it was 4 pounds ($8) per hour for internet services. We did find the customer service and the cleanliness of the rooms to be exceptional; however, we would never recommend their standard room to anyone (unless it was offered at 25 pounds)--and even then, it might be hard to recommend to anyone other than a student or someone used to a 2 or 3 star hotel. I would not ever stay at this hotel again, even for the short 14 hour layover we had. Prices for food were high (but perhaps normal for room service in London) at approx 8 pounds ($16) for starters and salads. The Hoppa bus was a fixed 4 pounds ($8 each way) for any of the hotels regardless of distance; even though we were the first stop outside the airport, it took about 20 minutes as the bus stopped at other terminals. We could have booked 6 miles further out and taken a taxi for about the same price (was told taxis base fare is 9 pounds from the airport...which gets you at least 3-5 miles). The extra traffic and time in the taxi to get to a nicer 4-5 star hotel would have been well worth the inconvenience. The customer reviews were accurate. Unless laterooms is offering an executive level room (not their standard room) including breakfast, it is not worth the money.

If you have 2 people in front of you in the quie you have to wait longer than half an hour.We missed one shuttle bus because of the above reason, the every 10 min. bus takes more than 15min. for transfer for 8 GBP, we almost ran out out of time to be punctual at the airport.Lesson learned: better stay one more night in London and take a mini cab for 20 Pound and for the the same period arrive at heathrow.

Hotel is just outside Heathrow Terminals 1,2 &3 and connects (at 4 Br. Pounds each) to Terminal 5. Continental flies from Terminal 4, which requires a cab at 15 B.P. for a compact or 22 B.P. for full size cab (2 adults and 4 pieces of luggage). A Five star hotel should have nicer toiletries, better quailty tea and coffee, cushions on the chairs in the rooms, more than five tissues in the box and not neeed a call to be made to provide a kettle. Sandwiches in the bar should be made with something better than cheap white bread. This hotel was convenient and reasonably comfortable, though the lack of a shuttle bus to Terminal 4 is a big downside.

When I arrived I had to queue in a line to checkin for approximately 20mins. There are no personal touches to this hotel, the complex is simply to large (or under staffed depending on your point of view) to allow for this. I had to move rooms as the door lock was not working. They tried to fix it first but when they were unable to do so they spent an hour finding me another room. I had to stay in the room in the meantime as there was no lock. I went to the gym when a new room had been located but the gym closed early for no apparent reason!!

Terrible Customer ServiceI waited over an hour to check in. I wasn't even angry about it until I saw a manager approach and antagonize several patrons (including me), all of whom were waiting patiently in line. There was not a single apology (even in passing) or explanation for why check-in was taking so long. Then they had lost my booking. I produced the paper to prove it and received my room. They asked to keep the paper. Then when I checked out, they tried to charge me 30 GBP over the price I had booked at; and told me it was my fault for not keeping the paper that they had asked to keep the day before!! i have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully, and I will never stay here again.

The concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I asked for transit and directions to points of interest. There is also a rather large and inerseting restaurant that doubles as an entertainment venue. Bravo, has a large menu with a la carte and buffet options. There was a band playing there the nite that I stayed. The hotel was also convieniently located to the bus stops and. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room was adequate, but one pillow each! not very good...There was no television remote when we arrived but this was soon rectified.Everything considered and at the price would use again.

Noise levelThe noise level from both hotels system and overhead aircraft was excessive and led to a very poor nights sleep

Excellent hotel, much better than the Radisson Edwardian down the road which is supposedly 5 star. The TV menu system at the Park Inn is very tedious however.

We booked this hotel because we were arriving late and wished to sleep before renting a car and driving north. The 8 pound charge to get us there from terminal 3 seemed exessive. A buffet breakfast of 16.50 pounds each shocked us as did the minimum charge of 9 pounds for a taxi to Hertz car rental. For us the true cost was an extra 50 pounds and therefore not good value. The public areas such as Lobby and bars were modern and well-presented. The coridors leading to the rooms were rather 'tatty' and didnt provide a very pleasant image of what the actual rooms were going to be like, so I was apprehensive that the room itself was going to be fairly poor standard. However the room was stylish in design, clean and comfortable, with a few pleasant design features such as the illuminated artwork and the additional pieces of furniture. For the price that we paid, considering we had 8 days parking included I was very impressed. Although the room service menu was pricey, I was not surprised as this is often the case at a Hotel positioned in a London airport! Most meal options such as Burger and chips/pasta dishes etc were circa £17-18 for room service, however the food was of a good quality and well-presented. A taxi to the airport cost £8 - which is actuallly the same cost as getting the bus (as its £4 pp for the bus and there were two of us travelling) so a taxi seemed better value for private transfer without any waiting fo rthe bus (every 15 minutes)

It was a shame that the toilet didn't work and that one of the staff woke me up at 00.30 by entering my room!
