Great hotel shame about Chino LatinosReally good welcome and a fantastic upgrade to an executive room. Stunning views nicely decorated and very clean. Cant fault the hotel but Chino Latinos was a massive dis-appointment. The food we received was first class but the service was anything but!! A couple of large groups had arrived at the same time as our party of 4 and the kitchen clearly could not cope. To be fair the hotel manager appeased the situation but cant help feeling that had the restaurant been upto scratch that night it would have been a perfect evening. I would recommend Chino on a week night.

fantastic hotel! the park plaza in leeds was absolutely fantastic, we wanted to stay 2 nights but was fully booked on the sunday..so we had to stay at the hilton the next night. which was nothing compared to the plaza!!! definately will be staying at the plaza more often, the rooms were gorgeous and the staff really helpful and polite, recomend this hotel to everyone thinking of stayin in leeds!!

Excellent, but bed could be betterAn excellent stay only marred by rather average beds. Not big enough and a bit too hard for my liking. Everything else was excellent value for money and the front of house couldn't have been more helpful

Entertainment package - got there in the end!Booked a room with the "entertainment package" which includes beer/wine & movies - perfect for a late evening arrival when you are on your own.. only downside was that there was no beer or wine in the room (was told that they should have been in the room already) and the movies got billed when they should have been included. However - as soon as i queried the beer/wine it got delivered within 10 minutes and the movies were removed as soon as i mentioned it. Customer service from reception and room service was excellent.Room was on the 17th floor - AC very noisy (aren't they always?!) but bed was comfy Would happily stay again

Leeds park PlazaUpon arrival at the hotel we were told that there was no booking for us on their system, even though I had recevied a confirmation email. We were asked to wait while the matter was resolved. This took over 20 minutes. When the staff managed to locate our booking we were charged an additional £50 on top of the price stated on our booking confirmation and were told that this would be refunded upon departure if we did not charge anything to our room. We asked if we could not do this as it was not mentioned anywhere inthe booking info and were told that it is hotel policy and if we didn't want to pay it we would not be able to stay there. Aside of the initial problems upon arrival the rest of the stay was fine. The room was clean and facilities were ample.

Doesn't do exaclty what it said on the tin..I booked this hotel for a weekend on the 6/6/09 for mine and my girlfriends anniversary. I’ve stayed in many 4 star hotels before but I was attracted to this due to the offer, £115 for a night including dinner at restaurant was a great offer. It seemed too good to be true … and it is .. Having read a great review on the chino latino restaurant I thought it best to call up 2 days early to reserve my table time. The girl that answered the phone suddenly and without introduction. Asked what time I wanted to eat and what day and that she would call me back. This was all said in broken English. I didn’t receive a call back so I called the following day and they said it had been reserved for me … fair enough.I drove down to the hotel having read that they didn’t have any parking but there was one close to the hotel for £12.50 a night. I pulled up outside the hotel, no real place to park or sign of a multi-storey. I called reception and asked if they knew were the car park was. The receptionist told me “ im sorry I don’t know were it is, I don’t driveâ€â€¦ Now even if you don’t drive, your employed as a receptionist so you should know ! Eventually after driving round for 15 minutes I found a multi storey behind the hotel, £8 for 24 hours. Spot on. The hotel room was tiny, and worn out. Table edges were damaged and worn. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. If you’ve stayed in a travel lodge before you will have stayed in a more comfortable bed with better pillows. The food was good however it took over 2 hours to have 3 courses. Not that the food took that long to cook, the table service was terrible. They also tried to charge us for 6 drinks when we only had 2. This was soon sorted.Overall … I wont go back. It’s not worth the amount its supposed to be. I would rather have booked a travel lodge and gone to a restaurant in town…

Didn't live up to expectationsMyself and my best friend had really been looking forward to this for my birthday and the website had the rooms looking quite plush. This wasn't the case, the room felt sparce and small. The ceiling of the bathroom had a number of stains on which didn't give me any confidence to have a clean shower in there. There was no mirror in the main room which made it difficult for 2 women getting ready for a night out. I think for the money we paid for the room (Heavily discounted on late rooms....I wouldn't pay the full price for this hotel!), I am disappointed that I didn't book us into Malmaison and will next time. Only ate breakfast at the hotel hence the score and that was reasonable. I found the staff on reception a little curt at times. In addition the hotel take an initial 'bond' of £110 on an £85 room which is fair, but although I had a receipt on check out on Sunday that the £25 would come back, it took until Friday to appear back in my bank account.

deeply disapointing!Stayed here for a night out with the lads.Asked for a twin non smoking and ended up with a smoking room which stank!Majority of carpets all have stains on them could do with a full decoration too.On the up side though bathrooms were clean and tidy
