On arrival to the hotel, it looked a bit shabby and although this is reflected in the rooms, which could do with a serious upgrade, the communal areas such as the bar, restaurant and lounge were newly renovated and at a high standard. The staff in the hotel bar and restaurant, especially at breakfast were brilliant. Very friendly and could not do enough to make sure we had a good time! The receptionist on arrival was rude and miserable, badly presented and had an attitude problem. The receptionist on check out was very helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The pool (If you can call it that) was a massive let down and even children struggled to swim in the two paddling pools. Views were great from the pool side though and the gym was adequate. Overall a good stay, a lick of paint is needed in the rooms and the pool is a joke. But the staff overall, were fantastic and are an asset to the hotel and company.

Easy access to trams. Also pleasant walk into city. Staff most helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms were clean, tidy, quiet & great curtains so sleep during the day was possible. Service was great & staff very friendly. Pool is only 2ft deep & not big or deep enough to swim in but spa & sauna was of a usable standard. Great shower heads in rooms & beds were very comfortable. Close enough to the city without being in it. Would stay here again when next in Melbourne.

We enjoyed our stay at the Parkview St Kilda Road Hotel. It was all that we expected of the rating. It is reasonably central to the the city, 5 minute tram ride. The hotel is clean and quiet. Very good breakfast.

i stayed here for my birthday had a blast loved it only down fall was the bed it was 2 singles placed together was comfy tho very nice place friendly staff will be staying again soon
