The hotel was very clean! The only problem was that it is very small... we were a total of four (we had 2 children with us)and it was a little to close for comfort! It is in a great location but is very simple and nothing special! I must say that it is VERY CLEAN! The parking was a joke... you park in a garage and walk out of it and then back into the hotel. I would pay more money next time and stay some where nicer! If you are there to go to the hospital and will not be in your room except to sleep and you are by yourself... I think it would work!

I found this hotel on Travelocity and thought that it was a good rate for the property. Upon checking in, I realized that I had made a great decision. The staff was helpfull and friendly. The rooms are top notch and very clean. I was a little disapointed with the fact that the in house resturant was an Applebee's but there are plenty of great places to go eat in Saint Louis. I have every intention of making this my new home away from home in Saint Louis.

Room was clean and comfortable. Features said room had a DVD player but when we got there it was a VCR. Called down to the front desk and they had a DVD player sent up pronto. Staff was nice. The area is really cool if you like walking around and people watching. Lots of outdoor cafes to choose from. Had a great dinner at a little place off Euclid. WIll stay here again.

We were not happy with the Parkway Hotel. The parking garage is under construction, not mentioned at booking, and we did not feel safe getting to and from our vehicle to the hotel.. It was recommended that we walk out of the garage and enter through the front entrance of the hotel to ensure safety, yet even doing that, it felt unsafe. Wireless service is only available in the lobby, not in the rooms, somewhat misleading in their description. Apparently there is breakfast available, however, we were not informed of this at check-in, there is no note of it in the room manual, and when the housekeeper told us about it and how to find it (located on the 7th floor of all places), we only had five minutes left and when we arrived, we were quite rudely told we were too late. Truthfully, it probably didn't matter whether we arrived early or not because despite the fact that there are eight floors to this hotel, the breakfast room was actually smaller in size than one of the regular rooms - not sure how they expect all of their guests to have breakfast there, even in shifts. No refrigerator or microwave in our double room, so this is another misleading note in the ad. On the plus side, the room was very clean and housekeeping was quite friendly. Other than that however, this is one hotel we would not care to return to. Not good value for the money, in our opinion.

We wanted a place close to Forest Park so we could go to the zoo (plenty to see, even in the winter, and NO CROWDS) and art museum, this location fit the need. Clean rooms, quiet halls, easy to find, safe business district. Fitness center was small but adequate for cardio - stationary bike, treadmill, elliptical runner. Stayed one night, quick in and out, no problems. Convenience store in lobby was great for affordable child snacks. Friendly staff. Would stay again if our next visit included Forest Park.

We loved our hotel. Rooms were very clean. We had a great view of the city from our 8th floor room. Convenient to the metro station. Applebees downstairs was great. We would possitively stay again. Would like to get it a little cheaper, but all in all a great experience.

Room was nice with most amenities. Room looked out onto the parking garage. No fan in bathroom. Charged an extra $5 to use the parking garage--which was somewhat disfunctional.

Good location with secure parking available. Easy access to St. Louis University and Barnes Hospital, many nice places to eat. Could not fit a roll away bed into the room. The staff was very helpful and took care to make sure that our needs were addressed. Parking was a few bucks a day, but it was worth it to be in a covered, secure, garage next to the hotel. This hotel is in a busy area of St. Louis, but not downtown.
