It was a very nice hotel with its modern touch. First easy to access as the metro station Sol is in a near walking distance. At the same time Plaza del Carmen is not too busy though in the very centre of the city, so pretty quiet to sleep. A PC with a free internet access in every room was a great surprise. Nice design, great big bathroom with a multifunctional shower that is especially appreciated when it's 40 0C outside.

The hotel was in an excellent locaton - we never needed to travel by metro to get to any sights that we wanted to see and we were very close to the shops! The hotel was clean and modern and the staff were fine (many people who we came across in Madrid were fine - not overly friendly!). It was a shame that breakfast wasn't included, although with Madrid's way of life, we weren't eating dinner until 10-11pm, so were not actually up in time for breakfast. Great place to go for a relaxing break and I would recommend this hotel, mainly due to its location and modern decor.

Room was nice and clean, but being on the top floor the ceiling was slanted and being 3 tall blokes we could not walk around without fear of smashing our heads on the roof!
