The hotel itself was nice, but my wife and I got food poising from their $25 per person buffet and they gave us nothing for it so we missed a whole day of our drip being sick. Everywhere you walked someone was bugging you to buy a timeshare, in the hotel, so we had little time to enjoy the environment. Also, my wife was not so happy with how little the women who worked in this hotel/casino wore compared to other hotel/casinos on the strip. Definently left little to the imagination. Then to top it off the hotel actually thought you should pay 14 dollars/day just to use the wireless or wired internet in you room. Pretty outrageous. I would recommend staying somewhere else while in vegas.

I loved the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. I think it is the most centrally placed resort. There are attractions on both sides and you can definitely walk them. This was my second time staying there and I would definitely stay there again. The room was great and our view was beautiful. The Eifel Tower from the Paris and the fountains of the Bellagio. The bed was soooo comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was huge with a shower stall and separate jacuzzi tub. Service was great. One day I stayed in the room a late and asked housekeeping to coem back twice, she didnt come back after the second time though. That's my only complaint of the 3 day trip. We ordered room service and it was in our room within 25 minutes and tasted great. We visited Koi restuarant inside the resort and it was wonderful as well. Great ambiance and the food was wonderful. There are a ton of stuff to do in the resort. Not to mention Miracle Mile and all the shopping. For a great deal visit the hotels website. They have special packages and i got a great deal using my AAA card.

This was my first stay at PH. Checked in around 5 pm with no wait. Front desk clerk was able to upgrade my friend and I - this worked out great because the upgraded room had a huge bathroom with dual vanities - perfect for two girls getting ready to go out! Our room also had a direct view of the Eiffel Tower at Paris and Bellagio's fountains. Had breakfast at Planet Dailies and cocktails at Koi - recommend doing both. Had the lunch buffet and was disappointed compared to others on the strip - I stil think Mirage has the best. The casino was a little on the small side compared to other resorts but the atmosphere is amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a contemporary resort. The resort is easy to get around - no long walks to get to elevators. There is a variety of restaurant options and the Miracle Mile Shops offer additional dining and convenience for items you may have left at home. And the central strip location makes it easy to travel to and from other properties on the strip.

Why? 1.Last year in came new cheap furniture from China. Shortage of drawers, you live out of your suitcase if U stay for awhile. this year cabinet doors were missing.2.Pool stair entrance needed to be scrubbed.yellow & brown&3.Maid service did what they wanted, when they wanted.4.Not even a coffee maker in the room.5. Room AC poor.6.White light on machines for several days.Workers with stripped shirt on hard to find, so if your machine goes out-good luck.7. Planet Hollywood gives the average traveler a good place to rest. The rooms are not oversized but the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is huge room - a toilet, soaking tub for 2 and shower stall. Only one bathroom sink. This is a renovated hotel, so the improvements are good. The resturants in the hotel provide a variety of very good fare - Mexcian, Chinese, Japanese, Steakhouse, and 24 hour resturant.There is even a 5 star rated buffet - best on the Boulevard. The hotel has a 1 mile shopping mall attached to it. This mall has shops, resturants, and entertainment, which increases the hotels venues. The hotel is located on the center of the Las Vegas Boulevard in the middle of all the hotels. The walk in not far to any other hotel or show one might want to see.

Stayed July 9th thru the 13th. I was very pleased with the room. Had a great view and the hotel is in a great location. You are in the middle of everything. The casino is nice and is well designed to keep you in. The slots were OK never hit big but let you play for a while. Hotel staff was very polite. Did see a couple of celebs and also saw a movie being filmed. Over all a very nice stay. Would stay again. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away I would pick another resort, but if you are ready to party this is your place.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced. Lobby atmosphere does not even come close to matching the old, run down rooms. First, we stayed in the south towers when getting off the elevator walking to the room you could see the wallpaper coming apart at the seams (every seam) and the paint peeling off the trim and doors where it has been repainted so many times. The room was no better, it was dark and the view was of rooftops of other buildings (something you don't want to look at your first trip to LV). The bed was comfortable was the only positive thing about this stay. There wasn't even a coffee pot in the room. One of the worst things was they are trying to sell timeshares to the new towers they are building and employees of planet hollywood literally drive you crazy multiple times a day-every day, trying to get you to go listen to there 90min really 3hrs sale pitch. Any way, I will never stay here again or recommed it to anyone!

I was hesistant about coming here, because I had never heard of this place before, but after getting there, i couldn't believe how nice it was. Everything from the amenties in a standard room to the music sitting out at the pool in padded chairs! Unbelieveable service, sitting at the pool with a cocktail waitress. The bathroom is the size of a standard hotel room anywhere else, huge soaking tub, separate room for the toliet and a glass walk-in shower and huge counter and sink. It was so nice. It was also nice to have the mall inside of our hotel. We didn't try any restaurants in our hotel though, but i recommend eating at Inn-N-out at least once!

I was really ready for a good time! I needed some well needed rest and relaxation and some fun! I found this at Planet Hollywood! I am so glad that this is the hotel I chose and would definetly return. There was so much to do and so little time that I was always doing something such as a spa massage. Now that was great! The food was good not great but you must take that into consideration with a buffet. The room seemed a lil small but the it was clean and tidy and comfortable. The staff was always pleasant and informative. The view from my room was wonderful! Location is super! the casino was very large and the gaming was lucrative with the slots loose. My husband enjoyed the Pleasure Pit with the very seductive blackjack dealers! Too much fun ! I would return in a heartbeat!

First of all the staff needs to learn what Customer Service is and who in the end pays their salary...us the consumer! My trip to Vegas went well. The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice and large, and the staff was generally friendly. There were several options for dining, but some were overpriced. The location of the hotel on the strip is ideal and definately where the action is. The hotel price was a great value. However when valet retrieved our vehicle, we discovered it had been vandalized. The valet service did not seem to care and were more or less bothered by the situation. They were not responsive to our concerns. As a corporate meeting and event planner, this type of customer service is unacceptable. Having this occur upon departing leaves one with a sour taste in their mouth.

I would not recommend this hotel to families, females or anyone other than single men. It was not designed for children as you have to walk thru the casino to get anywhere and there are almost nude girls dancing on "stripper poles" throughout. Door in bathroom didn't work properly. Light not working. Requested refrigerator and had to call back three times over six hours to get it delivered to the room.

I chose Planet Hollywood because a friend of mine stayed there and said that it is a new hotel and has a younger party crowd. The check in was average, they were nice but not extraordinary. The room was nice and the room was kept very clean for the four days that I was there. The housekeeping people were super nice believe it or not! However they knock on your door at 9am each morning and come right it - not too nice when you are trying to sleep in. I felt that out of all the hotels, this one didnt really have a showcase like the others, nothing that would make me say "you have got to see this". We stayed in early October and it was slightly chily however we loved to stay in the jacuzzi and drink but the pool area hours were very short and the outdoor bar services were kind of lousy. Also the Heart bar had pretty rude employees, they were very quick to tell you that you must pay for a drink if you are not playing $0.75 or more per bet - without even asking! Honestly, of all the casinos that I have stayed, free drinks were never a problem. Policy is one thing but they were pretty nasty especially after walking away from a table that you just lost a ton of money on - $0.75 bets on a slot - seriously? Overall the comps that they give at other casinos for gambling are much better, so if you are a big gambler - go to other casinos.

I love everything about this hotel. The ambiance is the best. The entire hotel/casino has a modern contemporary feel. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was spacious and had a good view. It too had a modern feel. If you're into slots it has the best games. If you're into the tables...the Pleasure Pit rocks!!! This hotel is NOT for old stuffy elderly type. Sorry, but It's not. In fact, I don't remember seeing any. It's a hip hotel that caters to a younger crowd.

From the minute we stepped into Planet Hollywood hotel, we were treated well. It was too early to check in and our bags were kept for us. Before we got into our room, we had a very nice lunch at Planet Dailies -- big fat hamburger -- just what we needed after a long flight. We registered for their players club, and received two coupon books for the hotel and Miracle Mile shops -- which we used often. You can get an expensive meal there, but also the Earl of Sandwich is a great place to buy an inexpensive, but good, sandwich. They have a breakfast sandwich, too. There's a Mexican restaurant in the Miracle Mile shopping area which serves a breakfast for $3.99, Of course, there is Starbucks, too! The room was very roomy and the bath area had a large tub and separate shower. Plenty of clean towels very day and everything was newly decorated. I was surprised to see white-colored comforters on the beds. They were spotless -- a brave gesture to use white, and not a dark color. I liked being able to walk right next door to the Paris hotel, or across the blvd to the Bellagio. The central location is a plus. The pool was okay, but in comparison to the MGM, it was not too exciting. And, of course the food and drinks are always overpriced at the Pool cafe. But, I would definitely stay at Planet Hollywod Hotel in the future. It had plenty to offer in terms of food, comfort, and convenience. The atmosphere is not stuffy; it caters to a younger crowd.

This was our first time staying at Planet Hollywood. The hotel & casino has a great strip location, close to restaurants, shopping, other casinos, etc. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the casino as there are many different areas to explore within in the casino with different music, games, etc. Our hotel room (Kurt Russell theme) on the 28th floor was spacious and had a very quiet location which we enjoyed. My husband of course loved the flat screen TV. I liked that we each had a separate closet for our hanging clothes and there were enough drawers for all of our other items. The large bathroom makes it easy for 2 to be using at the same time and not get in each other's way. My only complaint was the extra charge ($14/day) for internet access. We go to Vegas at least once a year and we would stay at Planet Hollywood again.

The Planet Hollywood Hotel was a great value for the money spent. We received 2 Queen double beds which were very comfortable. We had a nice view of the strip from our room. There was a large plasma tv, a desk with chair, a huge bathroom with tub, shower and an isolated toilet (with it's own door). The hotel had two pools, huge casino (with great music to keep you entertained while you gambled) and a great variety of places to eat. The location on the strip was awesome (right in the middle of the strip). The only negative thing was that there was not enough lighting in the room and the casino staff never offered us drinks while we gambled.

I had a great view of the fountain and our room was clean. Their was a lot of action. Our room was near the elevator and we could hear it every time it went up or down by our room. Planet Hollywood was crisp and very modern. It defiantly gave you the feel of a hotel the stars might stay in. The memorabilia in the room was interesting. Our view of the fountain was awesome. We could also see the mountains from our room. The only set back was that we could hear the elevator like a thunder storm when it went up and down by our room.

I've been to Vegas 3 times within the past 15 months and in all three times I've stayed at the Planet Hollywood resort and casino. PH is at a very convenient location at the center of the strip and in walkable distance to most Vegas attractions. My girlfriend especially loves the hotel because of the elegant room decor and the massive bathroom space comprising of a hot tub, shower, separate toilet room. The bathroom itself is 35% the size of the living space, which of course is quite big. I was however disappointed with the pool facility given its relative decor to the rest of the hotel and casino suite. PH's swimming pool is no larger than that of a average motel and sub par when compared to those of other casino resorts.

The staff at Planet Hollywood were all very friendly and accomidating. Rooms and all properites were very clean and well taken care of. We also had a great Strip view and could watch the Bellagio fountain show from our window. We arrived at 10 a.m. and were able to check in early. Fantastic! We spend two weeks in Planet Hollywood and I´m quite satisfied of everything. Location is super and our room (resort with pool view) was clean and there was room enough for two. Best part was the king size bed:) There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in hotel and in miracle mile that are not so expensive. Exellent choice!

Convenient location to trade show functions. Resort charges when not rated as resort. Hotel is nicely redone. Long waits at the check in and check out with only 3 persons working. Also 3 persons at club check in with no line. Extra fee charged called a resort fee. It is rated as a number 4 and not a resort. Roof top pool area isokay but closes early, and again not a resort setting.

These are the tightest slots i have ever played on in las vegas.I was a little uncomfortable that there was no shade over the tub in the bathroom, and it took a long time for the hot water to reach the 19th floor. We have stayed places in Las Vegas that were better formatted to our financial expectations.

This was our first time in Vegas, and we just loved it!!!!! We came here to get married. The Hotel was great, very friendly staff, unfortunetaly they do not offer any ameneties or freebies/discounts for honeymooners. The only issue we had was the constant pushiness for the promotional time share fot this hotel. We were not expecting that. Maid service was a bit on the sloppy side. Although this hotel was great, the location was at the opposite end of the strip, we would have rather been in the middle. One issue we had was that on our last day there, a manager was offering us a free buffett, but we had already eaten and were leaving in the next hour, so that kind of set us off. It should have been offered at check-in.

Great hotel with nice and cheap buffet! Location and the public space are nearly perfect, and the room. The view in the room are gorgeous! It's the ideal place for young couples to stay for the trip to LV.

We were very excited to stay at Planet Hollywood. Yet there wasn't any really good shows or entertainment within the hotel. The service at the restaurants inside was HORRIBLE!!! You will have to wait at least 20 mins. for a drink. The walls are very thin we could hear everything our neighbors were saying. Overall, I just was pretty dissatisfied with the hotel.

This was a nice Hotel centrally located on the strip very nice room clean. The mall connected to Planet Hollywood was a plus lots of resturants lots of things to do other than casino I would recommend this Hotel to friends

The Planet Hollywood casino had a very sleek and stylish look on the inside. I was remarkably impressed with it. The room looked like a normal room, but was very spacious. The bathroom was the best part of the room. There was a gigantic tub and a separate stand-up shower. The hotel staff was extremely accomodating when needed. Anything we asked for was brought to us promptly. Location was excellent. We attended Cirque Du Soleil at the Bellagio which was right across the street. Most of the other hotels were in walking distance.

The hotel was average. The room had a very nice bathroom, but maintenance had to come to get me hot water in the shower. They were very curteous about it. Never seemed to work all that well though. Rooms were decorated in a Hollywood theme. Room I was in had a "The King and I" theme, so stuff from the movie everywhere. Beds were OK. "Daily Grill" in the hotel lobby/room service was horrible. Have WAY too large a selection, so the food is below average. Their shopping area is nice, and Sin City Brewery, a small microbrew, is very good. Great for location, but prefer other properties in this price/star range. Would stay there again if the price was right.

Nothing great about the planet hollywood, but it is pretty centrally located. I was very unhappy with the lighting in the rooms and was told that I was not supposed to be in the room so it shouldn't matter (which I guess makes sense) but I like light when I am getting ready!! Overall, a good place to stay for less money and good location.

Attractive and clean. It is difficult to get in and out of as a property. I liked the rooms but found the location, inside a mall and casino very difficult to navigate into, find your way around the property and out of. As a business traveler this made it very difficult. I would recommend if you are on a pleasure trip but not for business.

Overall the hotel was fine. However, the maid service was slightly lacking. the room was clean, however the maid did not replace some things after cleaning. The food was excellent at the buffet and Planet Dailies. The pool area could have been a little nicer. No garbage cans so empty glasses and cans were everywhere until someone came to pick them up. Overall service was fine. Location is central.

I was somewhat concerned by some of the reviews of this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. Check-in was a breeze and we were upgraded to a mini-suite facing the strip. The room was of a generous size to accomodate two full beds a sofa and desk with room to walk around and even dance in. The bathroom had separate sinks across from each other which gave the two of us our own private space. The separate toilet closet and shower was definitely a plus. This trip was a girls getaway and the ajoining rooms made it a perferct retreat.

Free valet parking was nice andpool area was a lot of fun. No view on the back side of the building. Choice location on the strip. Pool, casino and buffet were great. Lots of dining options in the hotel and a great show.
