General Description

Located within the Sandyford Industrial Estate, the Premier Apartments Dublin Sandyford Serviced Apartments are on the outskirts of the city. We arrived after the air tours bus not having heard of the apartment left us at the end of the route wes rang a taxi who had not heard of the place eventually found it. The whole area represented a building site a large skip full of rubbbish covered most of the front entrance. The apartments had no reception area. Someone came and took us in to what appeared to be a viturally empty apartment block. On arrival in the apartment the views from every room were of rubbish or building work. The apartment had not been finished there were holes in the ceiling and damage to the worktop the bathroom floor had stains on it unsure if this was a fault in the floor or if it needs to be cleaned. We rang late rooms and said we would cancel this booking spoke to the manager the of apartment who was very polite saying she meant to get the holes and that sorted She said the rubbish was because it had been St. Patricks day We run a holiday park and you let on our behalf and there is no way this area is a. suitable for holiday accomoation being in the middle of business park and the last stop off the tram from dublin, which you would have had to have been a marathon walker to get to the tram in two minutes WHEN EVERYTHING is finished the aparments will be fine I think?

However service issues need to be looked at. Why not arrange checkin from the ground floor office (which was up for let)? Non-working living room light was reported on first day but never fixed in our 5 day stay. Non-working TV channels were reported (was told it was a technical fault and was being fixed) but never fixed in our 5 day stay. Apartment itself had was stale and needed a good airing out. Environment was noisy and due to lack of air-conditioning, doors and windows had to be left open for fresh air and cooling. Parking in secure basement was difficult when your allocated space was taken by someones else (this happened on 4 out of the 5 days and was reported each day). Exit and entry to car park was narrow and exit angle was very acute - meant I had to kerb my tyres each time when I exited. Staff were however friendly and did their best but were let down by these other issues.

The apartment was everything we expected, clean, light and airy. Could do with tea towels in the kitchen and a may be a few prints/pictures on the walls to make it feel less sparce (even hotel bedrooms usually have something on the walls.Would stay again and would recommend it. There are restaurants near by but you would need a car.

they seem to have great difficulty dealing with a switch card payment and can only deal with credit cards. It cost me an extra £21 to fransfer the money via my bank to theirs. This should have been sorted out at the booking stage we are in the 21st centuary Regards Mansel Thomas.
