We paid an average of £60 a night which was really good value for this hotel , would not pay the full price of double that , nice clean comfy hotel though , only 10 - 15 mins walk from centre , loads of bars and restaurants . Tip -- take metro from airport ( 2 euros ) to Principe Pio station and walk 5 mins to hotel .

We were very positively surprised about the room and bathroom - both were very nice and clean. We expected less from looking at the homepage. We placed pricing in "good" instead of "average" as we got a very good price by booking through Hotel Club. Our stay would have been considerably more expensive if we had booked directly at the hotel.

This hotel, although a 3 star, treats you like a 4 star. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms large. It is situated near the Royal Palace and between two subway stations (Principe Pio and Plaza de Espana). Downtown is less than a 10 minute walk and some of the parks are right across the street. Most of the staff speaks English, and they were very helpful if you need directions or tourist information. The hotel does serve breakfast, but we opted to eat breakfast in the nearby, local resturants.
