Not deserving of the intercontinental name. Most of the staff is trying to ""arrange"" tours at outrageous prices on the side. some say it's cheap but it really isnt when you compare to other choices nearby. Food was aweful, I had diarrhea for 3 days upon arrival. do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

We were awaked by a large wedding party in thepool area at about 0030 AM and was going strong when we left at 0500 AM. It was wall and bed vibrating, heart stopping, ear splitting music. Management said the noise was out of their control. We have asked for a refund and have been ignored. Awful experience. Management should have never book other guests with such a huge wedding on site.

The Intercontinental Pyramid Park is in bad need of a facelift, and the employees should be given a course on customer service, which they are evidently lacking. The buildings were dirty and had paint peeling off them, the walkways in the hotel were in a state of disrepair, and the grass was brown and dead. The waiters and hotel staff would rather chat amongst themselves than pay attention to the guests they are serving. For example, it took me three phone calls over the course of 3 days and a personal chat with a manager to finally get them to re-stock the mini-bar, which was nearly empty. I thought that the food was OK, until I became violently sick on the plane flight home. I found a spider web in my bathroom (a large one) and to top it all off, I had US dollars stolen from me in the hotel room on my last day there. It was a horrible stay and I couldn't wait to leave.
