As a regular visitor to Leeds I would stay here rather than Mal Maison or the Calls - the staff were great and my room was lovely - an exec with a seating area and really spacious. The Oak room is sumptuous and it would be easy to while away hours in there with the papers!

Excellent hotel if you have one of the better rooms but avoid the top floor (5) if your over 5' tall - the ceiling is a little low.

We stayed in the superior double which was spacious enough for the two of us, extremely well presented and very clean. We were on the 4th floor and located at the front of the hotel, so we had no issues with noise from within or outside the hotel. Breakfast is not included in the room price, so at Â£14.50 a head it is incredibly expensive. It would be much better value if breakfast was offered within the room rate. Otherwise we had a great stay in Leeds and the location of the hotel is convenient enough to walk to bars, restaurants & shops.

Lovely hotel for a weekend away. A free room upgrade on arrival was an unexpected treat for my boyfriend's birthday. Definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Leeds. Excellent bathroom with high quality toiletries. Good public rooms to sit/wait in.

Hotel with old world charm and serviceThe hotel was once the Liberal Reform club built in 1890 so is resplendant with sweeping oak staircases, stained glass windows and Terracotta brickwork.The rooms are very comfortable and I would rate the standard and comfort value above any of the standard chain type of hotels.Well worth the visit and we'll return again.

Weekend stay at QuebecsWe booked Quebecs thinking it would be a boutique hotel as that is how it is advertised - however - it is really quite old fashioned and in some areas a bit shabby so it didn't have the luxurious feel you would expect. It's location above a seedy nightclub venue didn't help either. Our room (a club room) was in the eaves of the building on the 5th floor and was small, cramped and dark. The bed was narrow and the storage was severely lacking. The bathroom was more pleasant than the bedroom.

The lovely Quebecs!Quebecs is a lovely, warm, comfortable, classy in an an old school kind of way, hotel, the lobby is beautiful with huge stained glass windows, the carpets are thick and luxurious and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. It excudes charm on every level.
