The hotel is 500 metres from the Termini station and has direct access to the Opera House at the rear. This hotel is suitable for travellers that prefer a traditional-style hotel. 0308 LB. This hotel is a traditional building dating from the 1850s. The facade is honey coloured, with the majority of windows having traditional shutters. The bedrooms are different in size. Some rooms have high ceilings and parquet floors. They have been refurbished in an imperial style. The bathrooms are tiled, and the corridors are spacious and bright. The lobby of the hotel is very large. It leads through to a very spacious lounge area. The public areas are traditional in style, with elegant period furnishings, marble floors, oil paintings and crystal chandeliers. There is a bar to the rear that is small but well decorated in period style. The restaurant is elegant and classical in style. Large windows offer plenty of natural light and a warm atmosphere. 1 kms to city centre, 20 kms to the airport (ciampino), 30 km to the nearest beach, 30 kms to the airport (fiumicino), 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station (repubblica), 6 km to the nearest fair site (fiera di roma), Close to the station (termini).

Some rooms have noise and shake from train underground, but it is very nice

It was very close to the Metro and bus lines. The beds had bugs and we three had bug bites after sleeping there. The beds had bugs that bit us, the towels looked liked they'd been run over by the maid's cart and they forgot to leave a bathmat. Room service was limited and they wouldn't bring anything from the restaurant upstairs. Ice was only available in the bar. I did not like this hotel.

Very big room and antique furnishings in common areas and staircases. Still has some aspects of the '70s that need to be upgraded / bathroom and doors, no hot water heater for morning coffee in room. Overall very nice hotel and location although some of the room furnishings - bathroom and doors still left over from the '70s and need to be upgraded. Breakfast was very good though the location in the big hallway made it a bit crowded.

Hotel was nice overall. Very spreadout, took a while to get to room. Floors were very noisy (hardwood with lots of give), bed was not terribly comfortable. Internet access was good, breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Clean and great location. Showers need to be redone! Both rooms had problems with the showers. Excellent location, friendly service and comfortable. The only drawback is that the showers have not been modernized so that taking a shower is somewhat awkward and more time consuming. Get those shower heads fixed! Otherwise we really like this hotel.

It was conveniently located near the train station, and the room and bathroom were spacious. Some of the hotel was a little outdated, and the beds were a little uncomfortable. A nice hotel overall. Very conveniently located near train station and metro system, but not within close walking distance of many major sights. The hotel has a classic feel, but it's a little outdated. The bathrooms, however, were large and modern.
