Stayed at this hotel off and on for about 6 years, only because of the location. The rooms are small, tubs have a short piece of glass (no shower curtain) so if you take a shower water goes everywhere, the phones on the desk are so high tech they are impossible to use. They won't call a taxi for guests until they come to the lobby, and then they have to walk a distance to the street to flag on one as they will not call. Getting a taxi takes an average of 10 to 15 minutes. The cost of a room is above average for the area and room size and amenities. Speaking of amenities, internet is sporadic and slow, the "gym" is about the size of the bathroom, and room service is an average of 30 minutes. Do not arrive later in the day or your room will be facing the alley which has all kinds of noise late at night, and very early morning trash trucks. I do not stay there any longer. Great location but with other hotels being nearly as good a location for less and with better service and amenities, I stopped staying there last year and now stay elsewhere, with no regrets. Used to treat repeat guests very well but not since the remodel about 2 years ago.

We were disturbed all night by guests in the next room who were screeming, shouting, using foul language, playing loud music and throwing items. The hotel did nothing to sort it out, despite repeated calls to reception. Furthermore, we booked 3 rooms and both other parties on our group were put in incorrect rooms. When we complained the next morning it took almost 2 hours to get a satisfactory result from the area manager who had to be called.

This hotel is located in the center of London. The service was excellent, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Our room faced the rear of the hotel and was very quiet. The hotel is also air-conditioned, which is perfect for a summer stay. We would definitely stay there again the next time we go to London.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a visit to the theatre. Fantastic location and the staff were absolutely magnificent - no hesitation to recommend.

Perfectly situated in the heart of London. Lovely views out over the city. Only small problem was the noise made by housekeeping whilst they were cleaning corridors and preparing other rooms. Not a big problem and doesn't take away from an excellent hotel.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, right on Leicester Square (not for those who don't like hustle and bustle though). Rooms are excellent but this is expected of hotel with a five star rating.

tiny room, hot and really shouldn;t be a 5star hotel... the communal areas was 1st class, then the room was a complete disappointment.. only stay here if you're hard of hearing, blind and have no awareness of space..the concierge were very helpful
