General Description

Just five minutes from Heathrow airport and the M25 motorway. This is a grand hotel in all senses of the word and is designed with both the business and leisure guest in mind. The hotel is lavishly designed and decorated with Oriental artefacts, specially commissioned artwork and designer furniture. In addition to car parking for over 550 cars, it has 459 bedrooms and suites, and a wealth of conference rooms to suit every need right up to the Commonwealth Suite, which can accommodate up to 700 delegates. In addition it offers stylish dining and bars, a Business Centre and the superbly equipped Pegasus Health Spa - the perfect place to relax after a hard day! Henley's is an elegant and formal dining area, serving modern British seasonal cuisine. The Brasserie is a more informal dining choice serving lunch and dinner. Light and airy, serving fresh British favourites. A dramatic new departure, Bijou Bar brings West End style to London's Heathrow airport. A striking contemporary chandelier presides over luxe styling, premium champagnes and spirits and an atmospheric ambience that beckons you to stay longer. Just opposite the hotel's buzzing new Brasserie, Bijou Bar is ideal for drinks before or after dinner. Service is warm and friendly from an established team, which is another reason many regular customers return so frequently.

We booked a Executive Room with King Size bed, we got a box room with a double bed, had to go back down to sort out and ended up being told then sorry we dont have any execs left so we put you in the standard double for the same cost, great... after some pressure we managed to get a larger room with 2 double beds, room facilities were non existent for a 5 star hotel, small TV with capped Volume so low you couldnt hear a thing, no biscuits or shortbread with coffee, heating and lights were always messing us around, paper thin walls so you could hear the people next door whispering!room service very poor, took them an hour to bring us a complimentary toothbrush, when the housekeeper finally arrived he had bought us a razor instead, took another 15 mins to bring us the toothbrush at which time is was check out time, Waitress at the restaurant gave us the bill and disappeared, finished her shift and left us to it, we could have walked out without paying, nobody would of known but as we were honest we settled the amount with another waitress...

Not impressed. Booked for 2 nights, after first night they gave away my room. They had me down as only staying for one night even though I'd paid for two nights car parking. Staff not really bothered about the mistake.

The hotel was of a good standard. The staff were helpful and friendly. Room service food was OK. The room itself was spacious and bed was comfy. Air conditioning was alittle noisy but I got use to it. I would definitely stay again.

Had trouble finding hotel, but really not the hotels fault.Had a rental vehicle which we kept, even though the hotel charges a overnight parking fee of 10 pounds.Compare that with the hoppa bus,and or cab it was more convienent to keep car,and catch the rental bus to the airport.Dining at the hotel was ok,quiet and food was fine and not overly priced.Coffee maker not available in the room, however McDonald's next door 24 hr ( Drive in only ) so walk to drive in window and place your order.Hotel much better than the hotel located at the airport. We would stay here again without a doubt.

We stayed in a deluxe double however the room itself had a very limited view of a wall - the best view was from the bathroom which was altogether brighter. The main hotel itself is lovely inside and the dining room is very impressive with extremeyl attentive staff. There is a modern extention that has been added which is where the standard rooms seemed to be located. The only issue I had was that there was a wedding party on and our room faced the direction of the band! However all in all this is a pleasant hotel

I stayed at this hotel given its high ratings and reviews and found the hotel itself nice and the staff were friendly when I checked in. However, the room was filthy. The bathtub had some old water in it that was brown it had so much dirt in it. I asked housekeeping to clean it and she came a few minutes later and after a few minutes come out and left saying "All clean now, sir". I checked the tub and she hadn't cleaned it at all. After calling up the duty manager the same person was brought back to clean it and remove a broken glass they had supplied (broken when housekeeping placed it in the room). Housekeeping cleaned the bathtub and the whole bathroom and replaced the glass right away after the manager pointed her right at the dirty tub and told her to clean it. The manager offered no appologies or compensation for any of this and did not offer to move me to another room. I would highly recommend avoiding this particular location of what is a really nice hotel chain. I like Radisson hotels, and hope this is just an isolated incident, but cannot recommend this hotel.

Generally customer sevice was very good (although arrival , I did have to queue for a while to check in). The hotel is very large and I frequently got lost in the uniform corridors to the rooms. The room itself was failry standard. The aircon clicked most of the night. There was absolutely no noise from Heathrow aircraft which was quite impressive. What let the hotel down was the food. I had a burger in the Brasserie which was really very poor indeed. Tasteless, a bit cold, just boring. At £11 this was unaceptable (particularly with a McDonalds next door which would have been preferable). With a glass of house red and a botte of sparkling water the bill came to £22 which I would not have minded paying for a really great burger. To be fair the waiter did offer me another galss of wine as compensation (which I did not take) but still charged for the burger of which I had managed to consume half.I did not realise that I would have to pay £12 parking for the night's stay as somewhere on their website I had misread that parking for clients was free. I did not have time on this business trip to check out the other facilities which I am sure would have been clean and staffed with friendly and helpful people.
