It is a very good hotel, well located and your price (last minute) offer was extremely interesting. I would not probably pay more considering there were redecorating works going on.

room was clean and recently renovated, but view to the back was uninviting. my room was double booked as another guest arrived after I had checked in, so the front desk appears a bit disorganized.

Hotel still undergoing refurb (nearly complete) but results are wonderful. Loved the new, chic and sophisticated style. Request for a 'brighter' room was managed swiftly and with immense charm. Room was clean and very comfortable. Loved the chocolate/berry colour furnishings and big bathroom. Beautiful, lush bar on ground level with excellent choice of bar food & fantastic staff. Breakfast choice vast & very good quality. Aaron and the team are ace. Request to change breakfast order handled with smiling efficiency. Staff in this hotel are truly exceptional. I stay in a lot of hotels and rarely see service of this quality and charm. Nothing is too much trouble and every request is handled with a smile. Perfect location too. Great for business and equally good for the choosy traveller who likes style and comfort.

Great location for the West End and Covent Garden. Clean modern hotel, although hotel foyer heavily scented of horribly stong fragrance-not nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself ok, modern but basic. Strange lay-out in the room meant the desk too close to the bed so strong risk of bumping head or arm in the night when rolling over. Bed also very small double..best to upgrade to a kingsize bed.

I stayed at this hotel on December 2008. They are still doing outside construction and there is no Radisson name anywhere to be seen. Inside, you will find a nice hotel, totally redone and with a nice feel of luxury. The staff, however, needs a lot of training. I arrived early and as expected, no rooms were ready, so I left my luggage and took a tour of the city. The location is perfect, close to the museum, easy access to the underground (metro or subway) and a nice walk to nice places. After a few hours we returned and we were told again that no rooms were ready yet. Even after the check in time, we were told that no rooms were ready until a senior employee found us a room that I am sure was ready for a long time. The rooms are expectacular. The TV is a flat screen on the wall and a bit difficult to operate as a TV, as it forces you to move from option to option before you can actually see the TV channels. Somehow the TV system stopped from working on the second day and noone at the hotel could figure out how to make it work. One day our room was not cleaned until very late when we complained about it, althought that morning before we left a staff member asked us if she could clean our rooms when she saw us leave. Later she told us that our room was not ""on her list"". I would stay there because of location, price and luxury, but will stay away from the staff.

Was hesitant to book this property based on the previous review, but decided to give it a shot since the location was perfect for my itinerary. Seems that they are still doing outside renovations, but the moment you walk into the lobby it felt like a brand new hotel. The lobby is gorgeous, beautiful artwork and nice furniture are very welcoming. I stayed on one of the upper floors and just loved the room. I slept like a rock every night which was so helpful while on an intense business trip.

Just booked a vacation package with the travel website. The hotel did not have evidence of my prepayment, delaying my check-in for over an hour. Upon check out I found that they had never fixed the problem, and were trying to charge me for my stay. I was informed that should I leave, I would be charged for the full stay, causing me to be late for my flight. We would have still made the one hour deadline, but the kiosks at Virgin Atlantic were not functioning properly. Because the staff could not be bothered to process our check in, we were later informed that our flight was closed and they attempted to charge us $400 for a flight to a different city the next day. I had to purchase $1500 in new tickets and am still waiting for the travel agency to give me a refund. Ridiculous.

Located in the heart of Bloomsbury, the Radisson Edwardian Marlborough was an ideal place for our short trip to London. After booking, we e-mailed to request a double bed, and the hotel quickly met that request; the room was surprisingly large and conveniently appointed. Hotel staff were generally courteous and helpful; even the one night clerk who disappointed us seemed to do so out of cluelessness, not malice. One could not have a better location for access the the British Museum, underground stops, and London in general. A great value in an otherwise incredibly overpriced city.

An air bed!I booked and paid for a twin room however on arrival was told I had received an upgrade to a double room. I declined this and requested a twin room as booked, only to be told there were none available (why take the reservation?) I was then pleased to hear that reception would have an additional bed brought to the room but was quite shocked when a porter appeared in the room and started blowing up an air bed! The first and last time I will stay in a hotel and sleep on an air bed!We booked and paid for breakfast as part of the rate - the hotel claimed they had no record of this and I had to go back to the room and retrieve my printed off reservation as proof (good job I'd brought it!)The hotel had E-mailed me regarding an offer for evening meal, which I accepted and booked. When it came to settling the bill there was no record of this and again I had to explain the rate we had been offered. I'm not a cheap skate but they'd E-mailed me!One additional point - if you're deciding if you'd like something from the mini bar or not ,don't touch it as it has a sensor which automatically charges when you move an item. That'll teach me for checking what kind of wine was on offer!I wouldn't bother staying here again. It looks beautiful on the surface but customer service is lacking.

Bloomsbury StreetStylish but a bit lacking in atmosphere. Buffet service at breakfast is a great disappointment. At these prices surely waiter/ress service should be provided?
