Hotel very clean and tidy, breakfast not hot, had problems when trying to check out, kept trying to overcharge then gave wrong code to get out of carpark. Lovely hotel but poor customer services.

Visit 11/06/09A good value, modern-design, clean hotel. The staff were helpful and attentive (providing directions and a map to the NEC - the hotel is 5-10 mins walk from the NEC station).Location is good for the motorway and carparking is ample & convenient (make sure to ask for the code for the exit barrier when checking out).The restaurant serves a good range of meals, the menu is good value and the quality of our meals was excellent.Only tip to the hotel for improvement would be to monitor reception more closely as it doesn't appear to be permanently staffed and at busy check-in/out times the wait can be too long.

nice hotelIn general, I enjoyed my stay. I found it a little hard to spot the hotel from the road, as it's hidden behind a row of trees and it looked as if I was turning onto an industrial estate. Once I was there, the room was large and clean, with good amenities. The only thing I found slightly strange was the lack of a \"do not disturb\" sign for the door. Otherwise, pleasant stay, if a slightly \"conference centre\" feel.

Brand New Hotel in a great location for the NEC. You can easily walk through industrial units to Hall 3.Suffered from being new by commiting cardinal sin of running out of gas for beer!!Staff never came to you in Bar!

A must if you are working at the NECWhat a find!!!! Reasonable price, brand new up to date room with squishy pillows and a decent sized bed. Free internet in rooms plus one hours free landline call each day. Brilliant staff who go out of their way to be of service. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

The hotel was brand new, the rooms were excellent and the staff were fantastic. It is a shame there isn't a choice of costs for breakfast because £8.95 for 1 slice of toast and an apple is expensive.

A very hot stuffy room and small bed. Not very comfortable. Breakfast service was terrible. They ran out of tea bags amongst other things. Highchairs too low for the table too.

Convenient and comfortable.Brand new hotel (Feb 2009), very convenient for both NEC and airport - walking distance. A few minor teething problems but staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were light and airy (ask for the windows to be opened rather than rely on the air conditioning). Great shower! Overall I would recommend for a short stay (1 or 2 nights). For my purpose (to go to the LG Arena) it was perfect. I imagine it would also be great for overnight stay and parking for Birmingham International airport. Despite being close to the airport our room was very quiet. Beds also comfortable. Food in the hotel was a bit pricey but isn't it always in a hotel!!

very good brand new hotel in excellent proximity to LG/NEC arena, ideal when going to a concert. staff were a little inexperienced and were suffering teething problems but surely this will correct itself

NEC Hotel stay Lovely hotel, very clean and modern, internet in the room which was a first for me! nice decor and the bathroom was great with the wetroom shower! only grumble is the bed wasn't that comfy. Overall great value for money. highly recommended.

Good for a stopoverModern hotel with spacious if minamilist rooms (laminate wood floors, no wardrobe - just hooks - no drawers). Free broadband a plus. Looks like an office block from the outside (I drove past it twice). Food is pricey but no worse then other hotels though choice is lacking if you're there for more than one night. Bargain for the money.

great location for visiting the NECModern hotel, with a corporate feel. Rooms clean, comfortable and spacious.Evening menu fairly limited, however food was of a good standard.Great location for visiting the NEC.Overall a very pleasant stay, would highly recommend for those on a budget.
