Visited this Ramada 3 times never an issue here! Cold Central A/C units. Soft fluffy pillows and comfortable beds. I'm picky when it comes to my sleep. Indoor pool relaxing. Bar, Restuarant, Pizza all in same area. Plenty of shops in walking distance and places to eat! Golden Coral about a half mile past the Hotel going west on South side of road never has bad food! Recommened Highly I believe in my aspect especially for the price and minutes from Disney!

"Room carpet was worn & smelled, Sink handle was off when we got the room. Bathroom needed to be cleaner. I would rate this motel 1 star at most."

We checked in late after a long flight, our non smoking rooms were smoking rooms. They did change us to other rooms across the pool, but these rooms were the worst I've seen in the USA. Door handle on bathroom was missing, floor carpeting damp, paint peeling off walls, broken toilet valve, phone in one room was broken, bedspread was stained and it goes on. My wife wouldn't even get under the covers, she laid out towels and tried to sleep on top of the bed. I'm usually pretty easy to please, but I must admit this was one of the worst hotels I"ve stayed at anywhere in the world, and I'm used to some off the beaten path 3rd world travel. If it was just one room I'd say maybe it was a fluke, but both rooms were in very bad shape. We called Travelocity and got a partial credit for the rest of the week, then got the heck out of there the next morning. ( they woudn't credit us for that night.) Live and learn, I read some bad reviews before we left (after I booked it), I should have done my research earlier. The one good point is the entry area, it's new and comfortable with a welcome center.

If you are looking for luxury and to be waited on this is not place but you get what you pay for. the price was great but the place needs a big renovation spend less sleeping = spend more in the parks

Great location! The exterior looks tired by new spreads and decor perk up the interior rooms. Plumbing has b=not been updated and needs work.

The hotel was perfect, the Grille restuarant was a dissapointment. We had the breakfast buffet, assuming it was 5.95 or 6.95, for two people this was approx 14.00 + tax. They do not include even coffee or orange juice, so now the bill jumps to 22.00 !! Any buffet, even on Disney property and surrounding restuarants include coffee and orange juice . . .come on this is Florida . .orange juice??? Again, the hotel itself was excellent, thank you for the service and opportunity.

The Gateway Ramada is a very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff was very friendly. We did not have a car but were able to walk to shopping and dinning, which is in all directions of the hotel. The only problem was when we wanted to go to Disney. There were only 3 buses in the morning to take you to the park and then only 3 in the evening to take you back. This made it difficult to make plans because we were unable to go back to the hotel and then return to the park later. This should be noted in the information so people know before they get to hotel and can't go to the parks or Downtown Disney at night.

We stayed in room 164, facing the swimming pool. A corner room Please don't stay in this room. The smell was horrible. We had to keep the air conditional running to reduce the smell in the room. The room just felt dirty. The carpet looked dirty. The best thing this hotel had going for it, was the lobby area. It was nice. I preferred to sit in the lobby than my own room. It also has a nice swimming pool, and game room. It says 24 hour security, but most time we came in the security was not at the entry to the parking area, and we drove right in!!

Like most of the Ramada Inns this one is run down and just needs to be torn down. Short staffed and obviously over worked by the time share customers. I will never stay in another Ramada again. Noisy pool dirty room no room service the 2nd day. Two trips to the front desk just to get clean towels. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Property is somewhat dated. It was probably a choice hotel like 20-30 years ago. Surroundings are clean and well maintained. Pool is nice. However, after checking in, the front desk staff will tell you that you must get a parking pass from the concierge. BEWARE!!!! The concierge will try and get you to sign up for a free breakfast buffet then the catch is you have to sit through a sales pitch for a time share. No Thanks! That would probably be the only negative.

This hotel is everything you're looking for...inexpensive, and definately very comfortable and close to Disney parks. It was really quiet all 6 nights we were there and the beds and pillows were very fluffy and comfortable. The only problem we encountered was some of the things (microwave) was very outdated. There was a lizard in our room and it took forever for anyone to come up and assist it out! Other than that the maids come in every day and make your bedding and change all towels. C/A and Refridge! Very nice!

The people were rude. Wouldn't listen. It smelt of alcohol, and smoke. The Resturaunt was disgusting especially for the high prices. Also, none of their employees can help you at the front desk about a room without a manager, and there seems to never be one around!

The hotel was being remodeled and it smelled like raw sewage. You could not drive close to unload the luggage or to check in. Room was supposed to overlook the pool, but it did not. It smelled so badly it would have been unpleasant to stay outside long enough to play in the pool any way.

"I was traveling with family for a long weekend. Upon check in they wouldn't give me my keys until I spoke with some timeshare person after half hour I finally recieved my keys only becuase they couldn't schedule an appt because my husband wasnt traveling. My room had two leaks, after my first complaint, they sent someone up to fix it, but it ran all nite long, the water was never hot at all, terrible."
