Tried to give us a twin room when we stated we wanted a double bed, but they were quick to fix it and give us a room with a double bed.

The location for this hotel is great, it is close to the U bann but also within walking distance of many of the sites / areas you will want to visit. It is near to many bars and restaurants , it is just around the corner from Orienburger which has lots of places to eat and has a lively feel to it. This is the main reason I would recommend this hotel. The hotel it's self is fine, perfectly adaquate and no complaints, I would see it on the lower end of a 4 star. The room I was in was small but had everything I needed, except and iron and ironing board which I had to go get at reception but once I did I was able to keep it for the duration. I think it is good value especially if you get a late deal : :Enjoy Berlin, it is fabulous !

Hotel was centrally situated and near to public transport. There was 24hour reception cover, so our arrival late evening was no problem, nor was the couple of very late nights out we had during our stay. The fact that we had to check out at 7am. also didn't present any problems. My request for a twin bedded room was met and desk staff all spoke English.
