The Regency Hotel offers the perfect countryside location for our customers, whether they require conference facilities, sales meetings, social events, and of course their overnight accommodation requirements. The Regency Hotel is in a unique position, right on the doorstep of Gatwick Airport ( 4 miles away) and we offer all the convenience that today's modern hotel user requires without the hustle and bustle that usually goes with it. The Regency offers excellent dining in our restaurant with a wide range of English Fayre and the bar overlooks the sun terrace with outside swimming pool. A perfect countryside location for our customers. Each of our 15 rooms are individually appointed with fine furnishing and a decor that reflects the style and history of the property. They all have an ensuite bathroom with either shower or bath and the convenience of tea and coffee making facilities, remote control television, radio, alarm, hairdryer and direct telephone. The Regency is ideal for conferences and functions as formal or as informal as you wish. Whether a boardroom style conference for 20 people or a buffet reception for 70 in our Restaurant, we will take care of everything. You'll discover a unique blend of comfort and character in a hotel that's not so large that you feel anonymous. If you are planning a business meeting or conference, you may like to specify your requirements or feel free to choose from one or two packages. Hotel looks a little tired and could do with some redecoration and much greater attention paying to cleanliness - light switches in room were dirty, room TV very greasy, room rather dusty, chairs in dining room had greasy fingerprints on the wooden backs, pepper and salt on our table were very dirty with old dried food etc BUT welcome from hotel staff and subsequent dealings with them were excellent; they were friendly, interested etc. And the hotel was warm and exactly what we needed after a very long series of air flights, to give us the opportunity to get a good night's sleep in a quiet environment that was nevertheless close to Gatwick and the car park where we had left our car.

The Regency is one of my favourite boltholes. Friendly staff, countryside location with access to great walks for summer evenings, cosy bar and, for those rare warm days, an outdoor swimming pool. Although I haven't eaten there, the food looks and smells terrific. Great value for money.

Upon arrival no reservation had been made from Laterooms, so they were happy to just take a copy of the paperwork and give me a room. For a single person I had a huge room with 2 double beds, tea & coffee, and en suite, for what I paid in South of England this was excellent, also included free WiFi.

They don't do lunch but the hotel was good value. Room comfortable, good breakfast, dinner basic but good - nothing vegetarian on the menu but they quickly offered two choices. Great for one or two nights' stay. Staff very friendly.

Nice Hotel set in its own grounds, have a drink by the pool before dinner , very friendly staff, great value for business users . ( Thanks Harry for the directions to PC world )

On;ly 4 TV channels in 2008? Not good enough. Walls very thin so lots of noise from other rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Ideal overnight stopThis hotel is ideal for those flying from Gatwick who want to stay somewhere with some character. The room was fine and I was reallyt pleased with the overall value for money.We were not able to use the restaurant as there was a large family birthday party (which didnt disturb us) and had an early flight so missed breakfast

When i booked this hotel I was a little worried about what I would get however I was suprised. For sure, the rooms are dated and with no mod cons however for a crash pad for the night it was perfect and especially for the fantastic rate I got through late rooms. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good and very reasonably priced.
