Lovely little hotel. Male staff is superb. Well spoken, helpful. We had a third floor room, so taking luggage up the stairs was a bit of a concern, but worth the climb. Wonderful stay.

for the price - not bad - inevitable faults such as small bathroom, loose light fitting on lamps etc, but it was cosy and fine not really anything to complain about. Offered me cooked breakfast which I didn't expect - included in price - so all in all ok.

We stayed just the one night (7/6/08). Below is the e-mail confirmation and price but on booking out we were actually charged £125. The staff memberon duty at the time (she'd just served us an excuse for a full English breakfast), didn't speak English very well so rather than not pay at all and cause a fuss we just paid (more fool us probably). Below you can see we initially booked for two rooms but cancelled one two weeks prior to the date. This is not a hotel I would take my family to (this was a blokes night out), the room whilst clean was exceptionally small with an incredibly small bathroom. Even for a last resort stopover it was expensive and not worth the money. Dear Mick,I re-c onfirm your hotel reservation with us ;2 Triple room ( each with 3 beds) for June 7 2008, at the daily rate of £115.00 inclusive of tax and English breakfast. With kind regardsYours sincerelyVictor Gilbert 71 Gower Street, London, WC1E6HJTelephone: 0207 637 1804 Fax: 0207 323 5077www.regencyhouse-hotel.com

mini break excellenceincent met us and the girls were charming . The nice touch that we both commented on was the bottles of water that were left for us. You dont often get that in a 5 star hotel. The beds were very spacious and comfortable and we faced the garden and had an excellent sleep. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We would certainly recommend this hotel and visit it again. The service of Laterooms was excellent and we would use them again many thanks.

Clean, comfortable hotel that is good value for moneyI stayed here for one night at the beginning of July whilst attending a two-day conference. After a friendly welcome in the afternoon, I attended my conference dinner and returned to a clean, comfortable room. No aircon which meant the room was rather stuffy, despite the window having been left open during the afternoon, but this would have been the case at home too! The bathroom was tiny, but well equipped and perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. The breakfast was excellent, hot and nicely cooked. The hotel is quite small, which was ideal for me as a lone traveller as it helped me to feel at ease and secure. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Perfect for West End and near to Tube/Bus routesMy wife and I wanted somewhere reasonable for an extended weekend - 3 nights. The hotel is within walking distance of Kings Cross and handy for Goodge Street tube being just off Tottenham Court Road. The British Museum is a few hundred yards away with the Marlborough Arms being a wonderful local pub/eatery on the doorstep. The hospitality provided was perfect and came with an offer to look after our luggage whilst we spent our final day in London. Room 4 was spacious with tea, coffee and water provided. Full English breakfast or cereals etc sets you up for the day. Would thoroughly recommend and will use again.
