An average hotel but I would have thought 3 stars would be more appropriate. Room very small but breakfast was quite good. Shower did not work very well. Would not stay there again

The rooms are extremely basic, this is definitely no where near 4 stars... the heating seemed to be stuck on very hot and a small bottle of after shave went missing from my room.. All in all, not a great experience!

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. More like an average 3 star. May have been considered 4 star in the 70's or early 80's. Therefore extremely overpriced at 220 euros per night I had to pay. Parts of the rooms are a bit run down. Bathroom door was rotting. I do not no whats this wifi internet for 20 euros !!! per night, most places in Europe have wifi for free (esp. if 4 star). Service and breakfast was good though. Breakfast was very good.

Rooms were average for the price paid, the twin room was very small for 2 teenagers. Both rooms had broken shower heads. Furnishings needed reupholstering quite badly. The buffet breakfast and service at the breakfast were very good.

we stayed at this hotel in October 2007 got a no smoking room everything was fine, in may 2008 got a no smoking room everything was fine., in october on the 6 th floor room 603 we had the worst stinking room in years. the carpet on the foor had a very large filty spot and was generally very dirty like it had not been cleaned for 5 years. the room, cutains, bed smelled derrible of cigarette smoke. after informing the check in were told no smoking rooms are booked out. the next day were told it was a no smoking room for one year already, the 3 rd day we moved out. the old woman at the reception is very unfriendly. during breakfast a purse was stolen in the breakfast room. Overall the hotel looks very nice.

After a short time in room we realized we were in a smoking floor. We were never offered a choice upon checking in. After speaking to the front desk, we were told to check back for any cancellations by 5:00 pm. After checking back, the Reception Desk Supervisor said that because the housekeeper had left for the day, we could not move to another room as they would not be able to rent out our "already used" room. The heater did not work and we were told that the technician would have to work on it on Monday as he was off during the weekend. We were only there from Friday until Monday in that cold room. The supervisor was quite indignant and spoke as if it was our fault that we got on a smoking floor for not asking for it in advance. Everywhere else where we've stayed, we were ALWAYS asked if we prefered a smoking or non-smoking room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. There was no way to reserve a non-smoking room thru online travel website at the time the reservation was made and paid for, in advance.

I've never actually walked out on a hotel before, and I did on this one. I was sent up to my room, and I was a bit nervous as the elevator was very dirty. But, when I got to my room, I was totally shocked. There was what looked like dried vomit all over the bedding; the wallpaper had come off the wall in the whole entrance area and black mold was growing up the wall; the towels in the towels in the bathroom and the sheets on the bed were a yellowed-color with stains on them. The chair had a silk covering which was totally shreded. It was just beyond horrendous. When I went downstairs with my bag in tow, the front desk woman came up and said they weren't supposed to rent that room. She offered apologies, but then showed me to a room that while much improved, was still pretty filthy. I just left the hotel and found another place to stay. Definitely give this hotel a miss. It's gross.
