clean but not a convenient location at all!

I chose this hotel because the description said that it was just steps away from all the major sights. The only thing this place was ""steps"" away from was the train station. Each landmark mentioned takes at least 20 minutes to walk, and that's if you know where you're going! A good thing was that although the hotel was so close to the trains that i could reach out the window and touch the tracks, the location was still pretty clean. But the guy on staff ...boy, did he look like HE needed a vacation...completely unfriendly!

Paris is not all about the hotel

The rooms are small, but you're in PARIS!! Who spends that much time in the hotel room?? The rooms are clean and comfortable and perfectly good for sleeping and showering. The location is in a great neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants, easy access to transportation, and if you don't mind walking a bit, you can walk to a lot of tourist attractions from here.
