The Residence Inn, Anaheim, Maingate was a very pleasant Hotel to stay in while we were visitng Disneyland for the week. It was a bit outdated inside, (although there was granite throughout and while we were staying there they were replacing cabinets in them) but very clean, and the outside grounds were Beautiful. I loved that they had kitchenettes in them and that you could leave a grocery list at the front desk in the morning and by later that afternoon they would have your groceries in your room FREE of any service charge....What a Bonus. They had a FANTASTIC continental breakfast in the morning, pleasant staff, great housekeepers, a nice pool....a very clean and tidy Hotel all around. There was also an ARC shuttle system that would pick you up right to DISNEYLAND every 20 minutes which was very nice to choose from if you didn't want to walk the 15 minutes to the park. A nice option to have after spending the entire day at the park. We definitely WOULD RECEOMMEND staying at the Residence Inn, Anaheim, Maingate.

Close to Disneyland, other attractions and a mall. Did not have a dresser or chest of drawers.

The full kitchen with electric range and full-size refrigerator. Restaurant only serves breakfast. No dual sinks in bathroom. Ideal location within 1/2 mile of Disney Land main entrance. Beautiful rooms and surroundings. A full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, an electric range, a microwave oven, and a dishwasher are all included. Plates, dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, and pans are all included too. There's a fireplace in the room too, to add a romantic mood. Only 2 complaints. There is only 1 sink in the bathroom, and they don't really have a restaurant; just a large breakfast room. (But their breakfast beats any other free breakfast in any other motel!)

I like children accommodations. Breakfast, swimming pool & kids friendliness. Up grade from a studio to one bed room was a bit expensive.

Free breakfast couldn't be beat - and close to Disneyland (we took bus due to small kids). Nice place to return after long day at Disneyland! We celebrated our twin's 5th birthday at Disneyland. The Residence Inn made our trip! We were within walking distance but ended up get ART bus passes because the little ones were so tired after a full day at the park. (The closer you get to Disneyland, the hotels charge you for parking ($25/day), so its a savings to buy the bus passes). The free breakfast was a lifesaver (in this economy). We ate until we were stuffed and took snacks/drinks to the park then came home for an on-your-own dinner prepared in our room. The Market inside of the hotel lobby was convenient. We couldn't have been happier. A great place to call home during our vacation!

We stayed for four nights and the room size was great for our size family and all of our lugguge. The hotel had nice landscapping and a nice family feel. The breakfast was ok, need a bigger room for when it is busier. The room was wonderful, full kitchen. I wish they had a computer to use at no charge though. Pool was nice and laundry area was very handy. Would defenitely recommend anyone staying there. It was a very good location. Ask for a downstairs room if you have a lot of luggage.

We had a fab. time at the Residence marriott. We are a family of 7 and got the Penthouse family suite it was very roomy for us. We have stayed at many hotels in the passed and never had that much room. We had a travel crib and a stroller in the room every night and still had plenty of room. The rooms and the hotel was very clean. I loved the convenience of having the kitchen in the room and washer and drier at the hotel. The kids loved the basketball and volleyball court. The grounds around the hotel were well maintained and had beautifull flowers. We stayed 4 nights and it was very close to disney and the garden walk shopping center. The one nagative thing was the breakfast buffet was taken down by 9:30. But the hotel staff did graciously give the kids cereal bowls, cereal and milk.

I cannot speak more highly of the service and comfort we received at the Residence Inn. We stayed in the two story loft (4 adults and 2 kids), and it was the perfect size. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly. The full breakfast was perfect, and the grocery service was awesome! We faxed in our grocery list the night before we arrived, and the food was in our room when we got there. The pool was heated and perfect at night. Beds were comfortable. I especially enjoyed this hotel because of the layout. I hate the hotels where you end up waiting 10 minutes for an elevator. This hotel was full, but it never seemed crowded. I will look no more. We will return to this hotel everytime we go back to Disneyland. Loved it!! Highly recommend it!!

This hotel was a nice surprise. Every trip to Disney starts with a hotel search and up until now The Embassy Suites was the winner. We are a family of four, including two teenages. A few things the Residence Inn tops over Embassy are...the accomodations, the location, and the price. We had a King loft with a separate bedroom downstairs (with 2 queen beds), a sofa sitting area, a kitchen and two bathrooms. We all like to have our space and this hotel was great. We drove to Disney the first day and it took us over a half hour to get into the park. We walked the next day and it was only 15 minutes! At the Embassy, we would have needed two suites to have this amount of space and we would have to wait for the shuttle to get to the park. Here, we all were able to enjoy our time together and saved alot of time and $$ on hotel and transportation. We did not have cooked to order breakfast, but I was impressed with the array of daily breakfast options. The rooms are aged, but the value was excellent!

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The room we had was fantastic- two story, two bedroom with fully equiped kitchen and a small living room. The room was in very good condition and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent with so much variety to chose from. The hotel staff was friendly and so helpful. If Disneyland is your destination, this hotel is within a short walking distance and very safe to walk at night. I will certainly return to this hotel my next trip to Anaheim.

This property was wonderful, right from the attendents in the breakfast area to the rooms themselves. The kitchens are very well stocked with everything you could need and it's nice having a full sized fridge. The rooms were very well taken care of. The beds were very comfortable, even the hide a bed! Breakfast was good, lots of choices and you can easily take it up to your room when you hit the breakfast rush. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Pool and basketball courts were a lot of fun. We have 2 young boys and easily walked to and from Disneyland, although by the end of the day, it took a bit longer than the morning walk! It's probably a 15 minute walk from your room to the main gates. Wonderful hotel, we really enjoyed our stay, and will definitly return.
