Good location and great breakfast. The room we stayed had a few cob webs in the ceiling and it did not smell fresh. It was fine--we did not stay in our rooms very much--just to sleep and shower. May consider it the next time.

Friendly and helpful staff. Towels and shower not as clean as they should have been. Other than the towels and shower not meeting cleanliness standards, this was a wonderful place to stay. Once the staff was notified of our concerns they took action immediately. We will most likely stay here again.

The hotel was centrally located, with a great view of IKEA!! It was very clean and worked great having the kitchenette with two kids. The breakfast was delicious and started our days off great. Train station not too far to visit the city, also.

The Residence Inn was easy to locate, right beside the IKEA store and the mall. Our suite was very clean and had a frig, microwave, coffee pot and dishwasher. The whirlpool, pool and exercise room were in great condition. The breakfast was very good: it had a lot of variety, and better than the usual continental breakfast. There were waffle machines, yogurt and fruit, breads, cereals including hot oatmeal, eggs and sausage/bacon, juices and coffee/tea. We tried out the Internet connection, and it worked fine, too; easier than some other hotels we have stayed at. Overall, this was a pleasant, well-equipped hotel.

My husband and I stayed here during a short weekend shopping trip. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is within walking distance to Ikea. Woodfield Mall is just a few blocks away and dozens of excellent restuarants to choose from. I was worried about noise from the nearby freeway, but that was not a problem. The only noise was from a neighbor who had small yippy dogs. It was so bad we asked for a new room and was promptly relocated with no problem. The staff was excellent with anything we needed. The morning breakfast was very nice. The hot tub was great after a long day shopping. The hotel was very clean, although the bathtub was had a little mildew (not a showstopper). I would stay here again.

We travel a lot and this was by far the most friendly and helpful staff we have ever encountered in a hotel. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms were spotless and we could not be more pleased.
